Morgan's P.O.V:

After leaving Ms Deans classroom I'd simply walked around the school aimlessly, until I ended up beneath the tree Kylie and I used to sit at.

We hadn't done so in a while, and I'd never thought about why that was, but now as I sat alone I was doing just that.

It seemed like we had drifted overnight. I wouldn't have seen it coming, that's for sure.

But maybe Mackenzie was right— maybe it was just a rumour, and nothing to worry about.

I stare off into the distance, watching the clouds and the sky, and I find myself daydreaming.

How I wish to be in Alyssa's presence right now. In another one of her warm hugs where there weren't any thoughts swarming my mind, and I was at peace.

Fleeting, yes, but peace nonetheless.

I curl my legs and hug my knees as I wait for the bell the ring.

I half expected either Alyssa or Mackenzie or someone to come check on me, but I supposed that was a fools hope, considering how I had treated Mackenzie before.

Sighing, I hug myself tighter. I shouldn't have gotten angry with her, it wasn't her fault.

It seemed lately I had many regrets. But perhaps the biggest of them all was not holding Ms Dean a little longer that time in her bathroom.

30 minutes later I was in my science teachers class— Mr Galloway— tapping a pencil against my desk as I waited for the rest of the class to arrive.

I had all male teachers save for two, one of which was Ms Dean, which was a tad unlucky. Not because of their gender, but because they were all assholes.

Eventually the rest of the class turns up, and I spy Mackenzie amongst them. She chucks a cigarette into the bin outside the door, just before sir could catch her.

She sees me watching and winks before rushing to sit down next to me.

"Im sorry about getting upset before, I know it wasn't your fault I was just shocked." I blurt as soon as she takes her seat.

She waves it off, "No offence taken." Then she adds a little quietly, "I had an interesting conversation with Ms Dean."

At the sound of her name I lean in closer, my attention captured, "What about?"

"I told her I wouldn't tell you..." She murmurs with a playful smirk, clearly trying to bait me into inquiring further— I do.

"Tell me!"

She chews on her lip for a moment, "Fine, I mean I was going to anyways." She glances up at the teacher before leaning in till I could feel her breath against my cheek, "She basically said you had spectacular tits."

I pull back with a gasp, "What?" I cry.

She chuckles, "Ok, ok, so she didn't outright say it but I gave her the description—," She clears her throat for dramatics, " 'A green eyed beauty with spectacular tits'."

I raise an eyebrow, but she continues, "And somehow she immediately knew exactly who I was talking about."

"Maybe she just knew from the green eyes." I retort, even as my heart began to race.

She rolls her eyes, "Sure, sure."

I turn away, mainly to refrain from prying more.

The teacher was now standing, and says, "As this is your final year of highschool, you will have opportunities that you otherwise wouldn't." He scratches his head, "So there will be an excursion for seniors to go camping at a site near town."

The entire class erupts into excited and shocked chatter, but he continues over the top of them, "The cost will be $40 and the excursion will be for a few days. There are cabins and it's by a beach."

Mackenzie shakes my shoulder, "No fucking way!"

I turn to her with a kids smile, "This was totally unexpected."

She prods me with her finger, "You better not be complaining right now."

I shake my head, "Absolutely not." Then I sigh, "I can't wait to get out of school for a while, and just relax. Like a holiday but for only $40!"

She whoops while punching the air, and sir gives her a warning glance— which she completely ignores.

Today had taken a turn for the best, surprisingly.
