Waking up on a day off was always amazing. No work meant I could be lazy. With as much stress that had piled up the last few days, I needed a break. Days had passed since the tension filled dinner with Sam. He had dropped me off at home that night and I've yet to hear from him. On the bright side, Jc had been texting me here and there which meant Sam hadn't murdered him like I thought he would. I wasn't too sure how things between them were though. For all I know, Sam could be planning Jc's death at this very moment.

"Oh Selena." I muttered to myself. I rolled out of bed the same way I did every day, without purpose.

No work, no car, no friends. Welcome to LA.

That wasn't entirely true, I mean I have friends. However, said friends just happen to all have YouTube channels and are always busy with that business.

Why don't I have a channel? Why can't I make videos weekly and have a fan base?
Why am I talking to myself in my head?

I laughed at my own arguments.

Of course I could have a channel, and a channel I shall have.

I grabbed my camera and plopped myself in front of my window. My white comforter made a decent background. The record light was on and here I was, actually trying this thing out.

"How do you even start a video? Everyone makes these seem so easy." I huffed. "First thing's first. I have no idea what I'm doing. I mean here I am, sitting in my apartment talking to a camera. I guess I could've started with a hey YouTube Sel here, but that's so boring! I'm such an armature." I couldn't help but laugh at how stupid I felt. "Let's just say, it's my day off and I have nothing better to do than sit and talk to you. Let's just start at the beginning. I recently moved out to LA for reasons that are even beyond me, the big man upstairs has some plans for me I suppose. If you've seen my face somewhere before it wouldn't surprise me. So if you don't know, I came out as Lola's daughter almost a year ago, and if you do recognize me, that's probably it. I know what you're thinking, what's the daughter of a star doing living in a shabby apartment by herself?" I shrugged. "Beats me. Here I am though. Living the lonely LA life. I should get a dog. Anyways, I totally got off track. I don't really know how well this YouTube thing will go, I have no idea what kind of content to upload. But I guess here goes nothing. Welcome to my channel." I waved with a smile before hitting the record button again. I had no idea what I was doing. The boys made it seem so easy, even Andrea was really good at it. On the bright side, the worst that could happen was me forgetting to upload anything.

I laughed to myself again, moving to upload the video.

As soon as it had started, I felt my phone vibrate somewhere on my bed.

Jc Caylen.

Oh boy.

"Hello?" I answered after a few rings.

"Hey, what are you up to?" He sounded nervous.

"Nothing too much. You?" I knew I sounded bored, but I couldn't help it.

"Do you want to grab lunch or something? My treat of course." He caught me off guard.

"Yeah, sure. You've got to pick me up though." I reminded him. I hated not having my car with me yet.

"Not a problem. See you in 20." He didn't even give me room to speak before hanging up.

20? Well, I guess I better at least make myself presentable.

SIKE.

I grabbed my favorite pair of high waisted Levi's and threw on a plain v neck. That was basically my entire wardrobe anyway. My curls were out in full today, but that too wasn't anything new. Ever since I had started to embrace my natural hair, I had become too lazy to actually do anything with it.
