Somewhere, over the next few days, I managed to talk Topfah into moving in with me. But work caused us to put off moving him about two times. Eventually, I was irritated enough to force P'Din to move one of my jobs to another day to help Topfah finish packing.

He didn't have any furniture. All he had in his room except the bookshelves belonged to the boarding house. Instead, I borrowed P'Leo's truck, and we packed his belongings in the back. I would have preferred hiring movers, but Topfah would have declined that help.

As I entered my place with two of his bags, it dawned on me I hadn't seen Dome since the day before. After then night Topfah and I first made love, I barely saw him. Though it worried me a little, I resigned myself to not put too much thought into it until Topfah was settled.

I stood my bedroom door, looking from it to the second guestroom wondering where Topfah would like to stay.

"What's wrong?" Topfah asked from behind me.

"Um." I paused for a moment before facing him. "I don't want to assume which room you wanted—"

Topfah put down the large bag he'd hauled up the stairs and arched a thick brow at me.

"You said I'm your man."

I nodded, wondering where he was going with this.

"Then I belong in your bed."

He picked up the load and walked by me. Stunned, I watched as he used his ass to push open my bedroom door and disappeared inside. I laughed happily, gathered the bags I'd been carrying and followed.

I then took his hand and walked him out of the room. Without warning, I scooped him into my arms causing Topfah' to yelp and wrap his arms tightly around my neck.

"Leon!"

"This is customary." I told him while carrying him through the door.

"I'm heavy. Put me down."

"I will." He smirked as he dropped me on the bed and climbed over me.

Before I could speak, he kissed me a few times.

"No time for fooling around." Topfah laughed. "I have to unpack."

"Tomorrow?"

He shook his head while framing my face.

"If we do it now, we won't have to worry about it later." He advised me. "Now, show me where I can put my stuff."

"Anywhere you want." Leo shrugged. "This is your home now."

His cheeks pinkened and I bowed my head to brush my lips against one then the other.

Once everything was done being put away, I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands and stopped to stare down at the toothbrush beside mine. While mine was black and grey, Topfah's was white, and it made me happier than it probably should to see them side by side.

"Leon! Your phone is ringing!"

"Answer it."

"Um—"

"P'Fah."

There was a mumble of conversation while I dried my hands and by the time I exited the bathroom, he was off the phone.

"It was someone name Aek."

"Oh—he's a friend of P'Leo's. Did he say what he wanted?"

Topfah shrugged. "He wants you to call P'Leo."

I nodded. "You don't have to be jealous, P'Fah. We've known each other since we were little."

"I'm not jealous." He lifted his chin. "I'm just—I'm not used to someone trusting me the way you seem to. Some men wouldn't want their lover answering their phones."
