Chapter 11

Marcus was sitting on the sofa with Gwen next to him on the other side of the sofa, Ruby was sitting at her desk fiddling with her guns, Luna was pacing in front of the sofa back and forth back and forth, Luna was confused by what Ruby had just said and asked

“Gwen you used to be with the SAS”

Gwen nodded but stayed silent, Luna walked up to Ruby and said

“So what is her story then?”

 Marcus looked at Luna and said

“Come on Luna if she wants to talk she will give her some space will you”

Gwen felt un easy about the tension in the room, Luna was a loose cannon she hated being left out the loop, Ruby knows who Gwen is but out of respect for Gwen she is not letting on anymore to what is going on, Marcus could easily find everything out by using his psychic ability but out of respect he didn’t want to use it, Gwen started to sip her tea when Luna slammed her hands down on the table and said

“Aha, I have got it; you’re a spy sent to keep an eye on us to make sure we don’t talk about the shooting that happened and the end result which is the fact that the SAS killed innocent civilians”  

Marcus sighed and put his hand on his head shaking it, Gwen then replied back saying

“Well I f I was a spy then you have told me something that shouldn’t have know then”

Gwen sipped her tea, Marcus had a smile on his face as he thought this girl has got spunk and balls, Luna was left dumbstruck by Gwen’s answer,  Ruby turned around and said to Marcus

“I agree she has got balls, but that doesn’t explain why you went missing Gwen”

Gwen Put down her tea and looked down her lap, she was quiet, she didn’t want to tell them anything, not yet anyway, Marcus looked at Luna and Ruby, he could see that they both feel threatened by another female in the house, Gwen on the other didn’t feel that threatened but just un easy, she didn’t like being the centre of attention but she was.

Luna looked a Gwen and almost glared at her with fiery eyes, Gwen felt intimidated and sort of coward a little in the corner of the sofa, Marcus stood up and said “Listen Luna show some respect alright i know you’re a alpha female but that is no way to treat somebody”

Luna started to feel giddy again at how Marcus was being dominate, she ran to Marcus and hugged him tight, Marcus sighed he could see what it was she was up to, so he pushed her slightly

“Listen Luna stop this alright your being childish, come now why don’t you make some dinner for the four of us ok?”

Luna looked up at Marcus, smiled, kissed him and then skipped to the kitchen, Marcus walked to the cuberd and took out a decanter and a whisky glass, he poured him out some whisky and took a little swig as he then sat back down on the sofa, he looked over a Ruby who was busy toiling away at her guns, Gwen was stirring the bottom of the tea cup, Ruby turned round and looked at Marcus she could see the stress, so she jumped up and walked behind Marcus while he was sitting down and started to massage his shoulders, Marcus started to feel a little bit relaxed, Ruby bent down behind Marcus’s ear and whispered

“Listen Marcus I found out who one of the attackers was at the crime scene he goes by the name of Maksym Król, he also deals in black market goods and weapons trading within the UK, the problem is he was last seen in London and went under the radar”

Marcus was listing but her massages felt so relax to the point he could fall asleep, Gwen heard the name but not much else, she wanted to get Ruby’s attention but she was on the wrong side facing away from her, Gwen started to feel like she had to compete with these two women around just for him to notice her and her existence, she sighed and finished her cup of tea before she got off the sofa and said
