The Black Parade

I got my phone from my nightstand and called Ray.

"Toro, I am fucked" I said as soon as he picked up.
"Why?, what happened?" He asked with genuine concern in his voice.
"I fell in love with a straight guy"
"Oh fuck, you mean Gerard?"
"That's him" I sighed.
"Okay bro, you might have a chance with him because there's been rumors about him being gay around the school" He explained.
"Thanks Ray" I said.
"I'll see you tomorrow"
"See ya!"

I put my phone down, turned off the lights and went to bed.

"Y/N" I heard a voice. It sounded oddly familiar.
"Where am I?"
"The Black Parade, realm where the broken, the beaten and the damned are. A place for those who didn't have a chance at a good life" It answered.
"Am I dead?" I asked.
"No, darling, you're here because you're dealing with something you don't understand"
"Like what?"
"I'm afraid I can't tell you" it sighed.
"Who are you?"

A man walked out from the dust and darkness. His hair was short and pure white, he had a black military parade jacket with sliver details on it.

I felt somehow attracted to him.
I walked closer to him, carefully, watching where I step.
The air was cold and it was fairly dark.
There were bones and broken down tanks around.
This was a battlefield.

"Are you okay, darling?" He asked.
"I- I don't know" I answered, my voice shaking a little.
He walked closer to me until we're were inches away from each other.
"Don't be afraid to keep on living" he whispered.
He gave me a kiss and looked up at the sky.
"I'll see you soon"

I woke up, cold and sweaty. I looked at the clock and realized I was almost late for school.
I threw on whatever was closest to me, that being black jeans and Gerard's hoodie.

I packed my lunch and ran to school.

"Y/N you're late" the history teacher said in a flat voice.
"Sorry ma'am" I said and went to my seat.

========time skip========

"Y/N over here!" Ray waved at me. He was with Gerard.
"Hi guys" I said, sitting down next to them.
"Now that, hoodie doesn't look like any of the ones you own" Ray pointed out.
"Uhm, so, this is Gerard's hoodie" i said.
"OooOoo"
"Stop it Fro" Gerard chuckled. "We're not like that"
"Yet" Ray winked.
Gerard just looked at me like he was trying to read my mind.
I was keeping as calm as possible to stop my face from turning into a stop light.

"Do you guys wanna hang out today?"
"Sure, I've got nothing else to do" I shrugged.
"I have a couple things to do but we could hang out at my place" Gerard said. "Around 5?"
"Sounds good" Ray said.

Gerard gave both of us his address and after school we parted ways and all went home to get ready.
I got ready and decided that going 10 minutes early wasn't that big of a deal.
I started walking to Gerard's house.
It was a warm fall evening and the leaves were different shades of orange and red.

I arrived at the door and rang the doorbell.
No body answered. The lights seemed to be off.
I put my hand on the doorknob and twisted it, it wasn't locked.
I went into the dark house.

"Gerard?" I asked cautiously.
There was fast footsteps somewhere in the darkness.
"G- Gerard?"
I felt someone hiss and tackle me.
I looked up to see Gerard with blood on his face.
His eyes were red and he had fangs.
Gerard Way is a vampire.

He leaned closer to me and pressed his face against my neck.
"Don't you just smell delicious"
"G-Gerard get y-yourself t-together" I stuttered.
I was scared out of my mind.
"Don't d-do this"

I tried to get away from him but it was no use.
I started crying, thinking this was the end for me.
Dying in the hands of someone I thought was my friend.
