“Here. She’s around here.” He pointed to the big huts. Nova carefully nudged open the door and looked inside.
“It’s dark. Rico, you can see in the dark, can’t you?” He asked. Rico stepped inside and examined the room. A small bed, a little desk, vases with exotic flowers inside, but no Genesis or Hilda.
“Neither of them are here.” He mewed as he came back outside.
“But the smell is so strong here! Maybe she’s on top?” Nova suggested.
“David come here.” Rico asked. David walked over to Rico.
“I cant really boost you onto the roof. You're too big and I'm not that strong.” He scratched his neck and looked up at the roof. Rico picked up David and threw him up onto the top. David gasped and looked down.
“Maybe a warning next time, ya arrogant tom cat!” He yelled. He stood up and looked at the smooth hard stone platform. It was ridden of any clues of someone being there. He looked over the sides of the hut, and then the back. He squinted at the small hut hidden from the rest of the village.
“Did we search this hut back here?” David called out to the rest of the monsters. Nova came flying up from Rico, and peered over the edge.
“No, we didn't. But the scent is really strong.” He came back to the front of the hut.
“Come on over! They might be in here!” He squeaked. The monsters found a small gap between the big huts and squeezed their way through. Zita got her deer half stuck into the small space and wiggled around.
“Just go find them. Ill get out.” She encouraged them. The mushroom men ran and rammed themselves at Zita to get her through.
“Yo! Hilda? Genesis? You in here?” Andy called as she opened the door.
“Oh my G. O. S. H.” She whispered. She ran over to Genesis and snapped the rope around her legs.
“What happened? Who did this?” Rico hissed as he looked around. Genesis rubbed her head and groaned.
“Ahhhhhhh, that hurts. I think some of my blood pooled my brain.” She said slowly.
“Where’s Hilda? Is she ok?” Rico asked.
“She’s not ok. She’s the one who tied me up here. Her whole stuttering and scared little ghost act was a lie.”
“Impossible! How? Why?” Andy cried.
“I don't know. She said her job was to keep the exile scum on earth.” The group remained silent.
“And she doesn't look like the white ball we know. She looks like a weird dragon thing.” Suddenly, Genesis’s eyes opened wide.
“Andy, put me down! We need to get out of here! She’s gonna kill us!” She warned. A loud shout came from Kali, who was still outside. Rico and Andy looked out, and saw the newly revealed Samira. She grabbed Valentine by the tail and chucked him far away, beyond the trees.
“No! Dont!” Zita cried as she held Nova close. She was still stuck, and Hilda growled and grinned in front of her. Hilda forcefully pulled Nova by the ears out of Zita’s arms. She aimed Nova at Rico, who was sprinting in her direction. He jumped, intending to tackle her, but he fell right through.
“You can’t hurt me anymore, filth.” She spat as she threw Nova at him.
“Anymore? What do you mean anymore?” Zita asked. Hilda turned her head and gasped.
“You mean you two dont recognise me? Im not some stupid stuttering little Hilda. I was the small child who never got to spend time with her mother. I was the scared child who was savagely killed by someone who was supposed to protect me! I AM NOT HILDA. MY NAME IS SAMIRA, AND YOU DIE TODAY.” She yelled as she picked up Andy. She flew upwards, and Andy thrashed her tentacles about, but they went right through her.
“Samira, please! It wasn't my fault! I was exiled!” Zita cried out.
“No you weren't. Father said you left. You left us.” Samira shouted from the sky.
“And you, you filthy cat! You killed me! I did nothing wrong, and you killed me! Why? Why would you do that?” She snarled. Everyone looked at Rico, who was still on the ground. He stuttered and mumbled, but he didn't answer. He slowly got up, and reached out his paws.
“Dont… please don't kill her. I'm sorry. Drop Andy, and you can kill me.” He begged. Samira began to laugh. As she was laughing, Nova slowly crawled to Zita.
“Nova, take Kali and the Mushrooms, and get help. Anyone. Be quick.” She whispered. Nova nodded, and repeated the instructions to Kali and the mushroom men. They followed him under Zita, and to the village.
“Kill you? I don't want to just kill you. “Im gonna kill everyone. I will wipe out our entire village, except for Father. He was the only one who loved me. The only one who took care of me. I tried to be nice, by softening the punishments. I tried getting father to exile all of you one by one, but you just couldn't stay on earth. You had to come back, so now I see. The only way to get rid of you is to kill you myself. Mother,” She turned to Zita “You could have joined us. We could have been a complete family, but you just left.” She looked down at Andy who was still thrashing around.
“You need to shut up.” Andy yelled “Cus you talk too much!” Andy aimed her tentacle at Samira’s face, but it went right through. Samira flew up again, and reached the clouds. The screams and cries of everyone below disappeared as they went higher and higher. Samira tightened her grip and Andy’s shoulders and said
“Another scum of the face of our realm. Nothing makes me more happy than cleaning our environment, right? Goodbye, Andy.” She let go of the small girl. Andy screamed as she fell through the sky. The cold wind rushed past her, whipping her hair in all directions. Her black buckled shoes came off of her feet and dived beside her.
