Daisy POV
Slowly I peeled the sheets of my body, taking a soft and silent step out of bed. I paused only for a moment to smooth down my pyjamas and grab Harry's old invisibility cloak from the drawer. On featherlight steps I headed for the door when—
"Shame, shame I know your name, where are we going, Daisy-darling?" Josy sneered, while sitting up in her bed. Zoey and Sue did the exact same. Cursing under my breath, I rolled my eyes.
"Where are we going?"
"Snogging with her boyfriend, me thinks." Zoe suggested, faking a posh accent.
"Objection! It will not only be snogging. They will be doing the naughty."
My face flushing, I once again glowered at them while biting down on my lip. One really did not need enmies if you had friends like them.
Sue faked shock and clasped a hand over her mouth. "Good Godrick, are you suggesting that our dear Daisy is no longer pure and innocent?"
"You are idiots. Shut up!" I grumbled before all four of us bursted into laughter.
Folding her hands behind her head, Josy gave me a big toothy grin. "Sorry, we just like to fool with you. Don't get pregnant, okay?"
Again I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging on my lips. "I won't since there are ways you can prevent it." My hand curled around the door handle when Sue said: "Really, are there? Enlighten us."
If I had had a pillow I would have definitely thrown it at her. "We can have the talk about the birds and bees another time. Now I am in a rush. I need to get to my boyfriend so we can...snog." I added a wink to the last spoken word before slipping through the door—once again trying to be as calm as a cat.
When I finally drew in a deep breath, I flung the cloak over my head and started to head for our meeting point.
Now moving around the Hogwarts Castle in Harry's old invisibility cloak was at least five times more relaxing than without it. No one could see me and I could simply waddled through the corridors, wearing a huge grin on my face. And I could also scare the living hell out of my boyfriend—clearly one of the best things about this cloak.
But not tonight—tonight was somehow special. I was also not heading to the broomcloset but rather the room of requirements. It was our one year anniversary. Excitement and happiness bubbled inside of me when I paused in front of the room, closing my eyes for a breath second before pushing down the handle.
I immediately smacked my hand over my mouth when I took in the room, a silent "Oh my god!" still escaping my lips. The room was covered in candles and candlestick, veiling the room in a dim, yellow light. I slowly removed the cloak from my body, glimpsing around in the room with wide eyes.
"On a scale from one to ten, how disappointed are you that for the first time in months you could not scare me with sneaking up on me?" Now I had nearly shrieked loudly when arms snuck around me from behind and Blaise leaned into my ear.
"I hate you."
"Nope, you don't. Otherwise you would not have come here to meet me for our anniversary." I couldn't avoid the grin from spreading over my face when he let me turn around in his arms.
"You might be right," I mumbled, getting on my tip toes and kissing his lips. "A part of me is worried though that someone could catch us here?"
"No worries, I told McGonagall that we would meet here for our anniversary and that we are probably going to have...intercourse." His lips curled when I gave him a deadpan. And then I bursted into laughter, softly pinching his biceps. "You are such a fool!"
"A fool you are madly in love with!"
"True." This time his mouth closed over mine and he slowly walked us back to the large couch that stood in the middle of the candles. Turning us, he sat first and then pulled me on his lap. Straddling him, I pulled back and leaned my forehead against his.
