It was a regular day at school I was in class when suddenly the speaker came on

"Ahem would mirabel clawthorne please report to my office"

It was principal bump this definitely worried me did he find out about lysander and diantha? Would i still be allowed to go to Raines? Thoughts like these rushed around inside my head as i made my way to his office

"Ah mirabel your here and your palisman aswell i assume?"

"Oh uh yeah ivy is right here" i say point to the top of my head where ivy was sleeping "she sometimes sleeps in class when she gets bored"

"Good im glad to see she's doing well now as you most likely know you are our only student with a palisman and i need your help with something"

"Sure what is it?"

"Tomorrow your mother and the bat queen will be bringing in abandoned palisman from the forest here to hexside for a palisman adoption day"

"Thats awsome! Im glad there finally getting good owners"

"Yes and heres where you come in i need you to explain how to properly treat and care for a palisman i know the students will listen to you especially since they've seen you and your palisman"

"Oh wow thank you principal bump I'll do my best im really excited"

Time skip to tomorrow morning

Alot of students were gathered next to the school but i noticed that none of the blight siblings were here i quickly pulled out my scroll and texted them and they respond back

Mom wont let us adopt palisman she wants us to do it the "proper" way sorry and also mittens got in trouble with mom about her hair so she isn't at school

Well that sucks i was hoping to see my partners getting palisman but i guess I'll only be seeing viney get one i walk over to the palisman nest i try to blend in with the crowd because eda is there talking with principal bump and the bat queen that was until

"Ah mirabel there you are please come here were about to start the adoption" principal bump said

I slowly walk over to him doing my best to not look at eda

"Ah daughter of eda we meet again i see you have a palisman of your own" the bat queen says

"Um yes i do this is ivy" i say holding her up

She flys on top of the bat queen and they talk for a little bit before ivy flys back on my shoulder

"Your palisman is very happy to be with you she has told me how much you care for her im glad there are witches like you these little ones didn't have good owners do you think that the witches here will be able to care for them?"

"Absolutely ms bat queen i know most of the students here and they will definitely love and care for a palisman"

"That is reassuring to hear now lets start the adoption"

Principal bump then calls the students

"Students of hexside the bat queen and the owl lady are here to give you all your witches staff and meet your palisman now mirabel here will explain the basics of palisman"

"Thank you principal bump im very excited to see you all meet your palisman im sure you all know that palisman increase the magic power of the witch that uses them but there more than just a tool to power up your magic palisman are your friends they are your companions that will always be there for you treat them as you would treat your friend i can speak from experience that they help especially if your going through rough times ivy here has been with me through most of it and shes definitely has helped" i explain petting ivy softly
