The next morning was pleasant. I woke up and put my hair in a ponytail, grabbed a book, and walked into the common room and sat, waiting for my friends to awaken.

At this point, I hadn't cared who saw me in what clothes. There was no one I wanted -or needed- to impress. Neville Longbottom was in the common room, but again, I wasn't too worried.

He was taking care of his plant. From what I could tell, it was a Mimbulus Mimbletonia, a rare plant native to Assyria.

Neville looked at me quickly, then looked away when he saw I was staring at his plant.

"Mimbulus-" He started.

"Mimbletonia," I finished with a smile.

"You know things about plants?" He asked

"I do. Herbology is a fun class."

The boy in front of me looked at me in awe, "No one ever listens to me talk about plants. No one really cares."

"I care. I love plants and you can always talk about them to me," Another smile.

We chatted about different plants and books, then we got onto the topic of Ilvenmorny.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind talking about school, but after a bit, it gets quite annoying.

Nevertheless, we talked until I was jumped on.

"OW!"

A 6'3" redhead was now laying on top of me, laughing like a maniac. He thought it was funny.

"George!"

"I'm Fred."

"That's a lie."

"Damnit," He pouted, then rolled over to look at Neville, not getting off of me, "Hey Neville."

"Hello."

There must have been something wrong, because Neville soon got up and walked out of the common room.

"See, look what you did. You scared poor Neville off."

"Me? Please! It was you who scared him!"

"Yes, Dear Georgie, because I'm terrifying."

He laughed, and we talked about assignments and quidditch until Fred came downstairs, then jumped over the back of the couch on top of the both of us.

"FRED!"

"HENS!"

"That huuurt," I whined

He laughed, "My deepest apologies, Miss Potter."

"Both of you get off!"

"No thank you," George said.

"We're quite comfortable right here," Fred agreed.

I rolled my eyes, but stopped trying to fight them. I let them just lay on me. We sat and talked more, just enjoying each other's company.

Finally, Harry walked in.

"Oi! What are you two doing?" He said, a little defensive

"Your sister is comfortable." George shrugged.

"Can you get off her, please? I need to talk to her about the first task."

"Harry, that's not for we-"

"It's on Monday!"

"MONDAY?!" Fred, George, and I all exclaimed.

"Yeah, and you've done absolutely nothing to prepare yourself!" Hermione said, suddenly there.
