Weekly Conversations.

"Katsuki... I was wondering if you spoke Japanese before you got here or did you learn it?" Izuku questioned the next time he saw the blonde for their weekly conversation

Izuku was surprised the blonde actually wanted to even look at him. After last time and the fact that he hadn't seen Dynamight all week made him think they would never talk again.

"I learned it." Katsuki answered

Izuku smiled with an amazed expression.
"Woah, that's so cool!"

"It's whatever." Katsuki crossed his scaled arms

"You know there's a word for that. It's called being bilingual." Izuku told him

Katsuki rolled his eyes.
"I know that moron."

Izuku smiled again.
"Of course. Kacchan is very smart." He nodded

"Obviously." Katsuki scoffed

"What do you do when you aren't here." Katsuki asked the next week

"I go home?" The shorter said like he wasn't sure

They were sitting next to each other with a reasonable distance between them.

Katsuki rolled his eyes.
"Not when you leave the aquarium, idiot. when you leave my area." He reiterated

"Oh." Izuku said dumbly

"I go visit some of the other creatures or people." He answered

Katsuki frowned.
"What do I fall under? Creatures or people?" He asked

"Well technically both since you're a merman." Izuku stated

"Merman?" Katsuki looked over at the other

Izuku nodded confused.
"Um yes? That's your species. Kind of like Eijirou who's a Merdshark." He said

"Most call me a Mermaid." Katsuki told him

Izuku shrugged.
"I mean you're very pretty, but you're still a male so therefore Merman." He said as a matter of factly

Katsuki rose an eyebrow.
"Did you just call me pretty?" He questioned

Izuku blushed and waved his hands frantically.
"I- I didn't mean to! You're just very attractive compared so some people I've seen." He said trying to save himself

Katsuki looked him up and down then shook his head.
"You're a weird human." He said

Izuku sighed still embarrassed.
"I... I know." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck

"What do you do when you visit other people and creatures?" Katsuki asked, changing the subject

"Well I spend most of my time with Eijirou. He's really nice." Izuku smiled

"I've seen you swimming with him." Katsuki nodded as he glanced over to Red Riot's area

"Oh. Yeah he's really fun to swim with." Izuku giggled

"You like swimming?" Katsuki looked over at him

Izuku nodded.
"Of course. It would be pretty weird if I was a marine biologist who didn't like the water." He frowned humorously

"I guess." Katsuki shrugged as silence cloaked then

"Well I'm drying out. Later." The blonde said slipping into the water

Izuku stood up but was sad they had to cut the conversation short.
"Okay. I'll talk to you next week?" He asked with hope in his eyes

"Sure." Katsuki nodded and Izuku smiled
