A Tour.

~I'm so incredibly sorry. My irl live had been hectic but I finally finished this today lol. I'll just upload on Fridaysif I can. Again sorry for taking so long to post~

Izuku and Katsuki swam through the hallway side by side as the new merman looked at all the details and fixtures. The place was gorgeous from the outside but even better on the inside. There were statues of previous rulers that lined the hall Izuku and Katsuki were meandering through.

"Your castle is very pretty Kacchan. I've never been to a palace that's so beautiful and with so much detail." He smiled

"Thanks. That mean you'll be okay to live here though?" Katsuki asked, he had his hands behind his back all formal like

Izuku looked over at him.
"You want me to live here?" He tilted his head

Katsuki frowned at the other.
"Where the hell else would you?" He questioned rhetorically

Izuku blushed a bit as he rubbed the back of his head with his webbed fingers and sharp nails.
"Well...it's not like we're married. I just assumed I would stay here and get a job then pay for my own place."

"Deku we don't have regular houses." Katsuki told him with an eye roll

Izuku jolted, remembering.
"Right. Sorry um maybe a cool reef area or a nice kelp forest." He shrugged

Katsuki sighed, making his gills flutter.
"It's fine, but you're living here."

Izuku relented.
"Okay, but is there something I can do though? I don't wanna be a freeloader." He said

Katsuki shrugged again.
"Well you're a biologist right? You can still be that." He replied

Izuku tilted his head confused.
"Um wouldn't that be weird though since I'm now part fish?"

Katsuki rolled his eyes.
"Or you can be a doctor since you know so much about marine life anyway." He said

"I'm assuming that means you have a university down here then right? I don't have any veterinary experience." Izuku told him

Katsuki nodded.
"Yep. The best in the ocean." He grinned

Izuku looked baffled.
"Wait, there's others?"

Katsuki glanced over at the other.
"Just 'cause you humans come down here a lot it doesn't mean you actually see much of anything. This kingdom isn't the only one." He said

Izuku smiled.
"Woah, that's so cool!"

Katsuki shrugged nonchalantly.
"I guess. Our's is the biggest though." He added

"Of course." Izuku giggled as they came upon a door with a guard next to it

"Here we are." Katsuki said looking towards the other merman

"Good evening my King." The person dressed in metal armor said as she bowed deeply

"Thanks" Katsuki gave her a nod then the guard opened the door for him and he swam in

"Thank you kind sir." Izuku bowed to the lady

The other bowed in return.
"It's a pleasure my King consort." She said

Izuku blushed as he rose back up.
"C- consort-" He stuttered, but was interrupted

"Deku c'mon!" Katsuki called making the green haired merman flinch

"Coming!" Izuku said swimming in immediately and seeing the room

"Woah." He said hearing the door shut

Katsuki rolled his eyes as he laid on the sponge bed after setting his crown down beside him..
"If you keep saying 'woah' I'm gonna filet you."

Izuku giggled as he swam towards him.
"Sorry. It's just that everything is amazing!" He smiled

Katsuki looked over at the smaller.
"Glad you think so."

Izuku sat next to him as he looked around the space.
"Um, is this my room? It seems pretty fancy and big for just me being in here." He said

Katsuki scoffed while sitting up.
"It's our room. Technically mine first." He stated

Izuku's head snapped towards him.
"This is Kacchan's chambers?" He asked

Katsuki frowned.
"Yeah. Now ours though." He said

Izuku blushed and looked towards the floor.
"Right, since we're together..." He said seeing his scales reflect at the different light that shines through the water

Katsuki rose a curious eyebrow.
"What's wrong?"

"Nothing it's just that um, on land kings and queens didn't have anyone in their rooms other than their significant others."

"Well you are my consort and we have had sex. I think it's okay if you sleep on my bed." Katsuki shrugged

Izuku blushed brighter looking over at the blonde.
"I know! B- but typically it's their spouses or concubines. I'm neither right?" He asked

"Last time I checked no." Katsuki said

Izuku sighed in relief.
"Then why are they allowing me to do this? It's usually not how royalty does things."

"Deku, I'm the king. I can do as I please." Katsuki said putting his crown back on

The blonde sighed and leaned over to kisd Izuku's cheek when he didn't look convinced.
"I want you in my chambers so you're here. If you'd rather sleep somewhere else then I'll have a servant prepare you a room." He compromised

Izuku shook his head.
"No! No need for that. I'll stay here." He gestured to the bed

"It's all just a lot to take in." He expressed

"But I'll get used to it." Izuku told him

Katsuki shrugged as he got up, swimming forward just a bit.
"You don't have to do much. It's not like you'll have to perform any duties. That's my shit." He explained

The door suddenly opened as Izuku got up from the bed to speak.
"Finally you're home. Why the hell didn't you have a guard come tell me." Mitsuki said as she entered the room, hands in her hips

Katsuki crossed his arms.
"Cause it was letting Izuku settle in first." He huffed

Mitsuki rose a quizzical eyebrow.
"In your room." She asked with implication

Katsuki glanced away.
"Shuddup." He grumbled

Mitsuki rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
"Anyway. Would you like to join us for dinner?"

Izuku nodded.
"Oh sure! Of course I would, my queen." He bowed respectfully

Mitsuki frowned at Izuku.
"Like I told you last time, none of that. We're practically family now anyways." She said pulling him with her

"Right." The smaller said as he followed

"C'mon Katsuki!" Mitsuki yelled from the hallway

The other blonde huffed and swam after them as the female guard shut the door to his room. Mitsuki chatted Izuku's ear off while they headed to the dining hall. Katsuki just stayed behind them and listened. Izuku seemed so intent to hang onto her every word and well Katsuki decided he would just stare at him from behind. Everything was new and not what he imagined. Izuku has done so much for him and Katsuki feels he needs to return the favor.
