"Wow." Izuku said in awe after Katsuki finished telling about how he ended up at the Toshinori's Aquarium Palace
"Wow what?" The blonde asked
Izuku shrugged.
"That's just a lot. You were a prince?" He asked
Katsuki shrugged also.
"Technically I still am."
Izuku smiled.
"That's really cool."
"Thanks I guess." Katsuki said
"No thanks for talking to me Kacchan." Izuku said
"It's whatever." Katsuki shrugged again
Izuku looked at the time on his phone.
"Kacchan I'm sorry, but if have to go. Same time next week?" He asked as he got up
"Sure." Katsuki nodded
Izuku smiled softly as he kneeled and hugged the other.
"I'll see you later then. Get some sleep."
Katsuki hesitantly hugged back.
"You too Nerd." He said
Izuku giggled as he stood back up.
"Aye aye captain!" He said

Two weeks later and Izuku kept asking the same questions here and there when he talked to Katsuki.
"Don't you miss being home?" Izuku asked
"Not this again." Katsuki rolled his eyes
"Don't you want to go home?" Izuku questioned
"Deku why do you care?" Katsuki inquired
"Because you're my friend. You're a person." Izuku said
"But I'm not human." Katsuki retorted
Izuku shrugged.
"And I don't care." He stated
"What?" Katsuki frowned
"I don't care that you're a merman. If you were fully human this would be illegal." Izuku told him
"But I'm not Deku so leave it alone." Katsuki said
Izuku shook his head.
"No. You deserve to be in the ocean again. You don't belong here."
"Deku enough! Stop!" Katsuki shouted in frustration
"Why?" Izuku asked
Katsuki sighed.
"Because it doesn't matter now. My family has probably already forgotten me." He said looking up at the sky
Izuku shook his head again.
"Kacchan family don't forget people."
"You don't know that." Katsuki looked over at him
"Do you really think so little of yourself?" The smaller asked
Katsuki didn't answer as he glanced to the side sadly.
"Kacchan." Izuku said as his face fell into a remorse look
Katsuki shut his eyes.
"Leave it alone Deku. Please." He begged
Izuku cupped the blonde's jaw near his ear fin.
"You don't think you deserve to be saved?" He asked
Katsuki frowned.
"I don't need your help." He told the other
"But Kacchan." Izuku said as the taller pulled away
"Leave me alone." Katsuki said as he slid in the water
"No wait." Izuku said as he grabbed the blonde's arm nearly falling in the water
"Deku let go!" Katsuki said trying to jerk his arm away from the smaller
