Me and dad walked to Queens and i to a building and knocked on an apartment. "Hello?" A woman opened.

"Are you May Parker?" Dad asked her.

"Yes. Oh my god. You're Tony Stark! Huh! What are you doing here?"

"May we come in?"

"Sure. Sure."

"May, I heard a lot about you." I said. "I'm Peter's lab partner. Um... also he's my dad."

"Guilty."

"I just need to borrow some stuff from him and my dad wanted to talk to him about the grant he applied for."

"What?"

"No, yeah, well, we talked, and I told him he should totally applied for it so, yeah."

The door opened and Peter walked in. "Hey, May." He said.

"Hey, how was school?"

"There's a crazy car parked outside—" he froze when he saw us.

"Oh, Mr. Parker." Dad said.

"What are you doing... hey, I'm Peter!"

"Tony."

"What are you, what are you doing here?"

"It's about time we met. You've been getting my emails, right?"

Peter looked at me and I nodded. "Yeah. Yeah. Regarding the..."

"You didn't tell me about the grant." May said.

"It's about the grant."

"The September foundation." Dad said.

"Remember when I told you to apply?" I told him.

"Yeah."

"Well, I approved, so now we're in business."

"But you didn't tell me anything. What's up with that? You keeping secrets from me now?"

"I just know how much you love surprises so I thought I would let you know... anyway, what did I apply for?"

"That's why I'm here. Can I have five minutes with him?"

"Sure." May said.

"Amelia?" Peter asked me.

"It's cool. Cool, cool. You'll love it." I said to him smiling.

And then they walked into Peter's room and I was left with May. "So... lab partners?" She asked me.

"Yeah. For a few months now. He didn't tell you?"

"No. No, he didn't."

"I don't mean to be rude but... is it just you and him? I mean, you've raised him?"

"Yeah. I did."

"He's a really good kid. He's nice and kind. Kindest person I know. Even when I didn't deserve it he was nice to me. So... yeah."

she smiled softly, "i'm glad."

Dad and Peter came out of the room. "Hey!" I said. "You love it, right?"

"Yeah. Totally." Peter said.

"Okay, Ames, we should go."

"Can you give me like two minutes? I'll meet you downstairs?"

"Sure, yeah."

"Can we talk?" I turned to Peter.

I followed him into his room. "So this is your room, huh?"

"How did you find out?"

"That you're Spiderman? It wasn't that hard. And I'm a Stark. I'm smarter than you."

He chuckled. "Right."

I smiled. "I wanted to say thank you about the other day. And the whole past few months. You've been really nice to me, and I let Jake treat you like crap. So..."

"It's okay, Amelia."

"I need to tell you something." I said quickly.

"Okay."

"I think... I, I have feelings for you. And I'm like... I don't know if to ignore it or not. But I really like you. And..."

"I really like you too." He said.

"Really?"

"Yeah. For months now."

I laughed and then looked at him. "What?" He smiled at me.

"Nothing." He said.

"Parker, just tell me—" I was cut off by him pulling me into him and kissed me.

I pulled out for air. "You're gonna help my dad then?"

"You don't want me to?"

"That's not what I said."

"Sounds like it."

"Peter. Steve Rogers is the strongest out of them all. Bucky Barnes is crazy and I don't know if he's not anymore. Wanda is, well, she's Wanda. And I guess he recruited more."

"But I have Iron man and Black Widow."

"Yes but in my eyes, you're still on the weaker team. And I don't want you to get hurt."

"I won't. I'm gonna be fine."

"Okay."

"Okay?" He asked softly.

"Yeah. I trust you."
