I put on my purple dress and got ready to leave the house.

When I walked downstairs mom and dad looked at me in admiration.

"What?" I asked.

"You look beautiful." Mom said, softly. "Is Peter outside?"

"Umm, actually I'm not going with Peter. We had a fight, so..."

"Oh, I'm sorry, honey."

"It's okay. I'm fine, really."

"Wanna ride?" Dad asked me.

"And risk everyone being around you, no thanks."

"Come on, Ames."

"Not today. Not now." I said to him, grabbing my keys.

"Amelia..."

"Dad, I'm not in the mood."

I slammed the door after me.

I waited outside the gym for Peter to arrive. I saw Liz's dad taking them. Liz came out but Peter stayed inside. "Fuck." I muttered.

He was inside the car for like five minutes while Liz walked inside. He came out, more pale than he is, and then he saw me.

I walked to the side and he followed me. "Holy shit—"

"I know."

"Could you just not tell me instead of dragging me into his car."

"Did he found out you are him?"

"Yeah. He, yeah he did. What?"

"I had to make you see for yourself."

"But why make me go with her? I want to be with you."

"Well, part of it was my plan. I wanna expose her. I have to."

He smiling at me. "You look nice."

"Thanks." He pinned me to the wall behind me and kissed me.

"I love you. See you inside." He said when he pulled out.

I walked inside and saw Peter with Liz. They were chatting but then Peter left and I walked up to her. "Hey Liz. I see you stole my date." I said.

"Amelia— I—"

"Oh don't worry."

"You broke up." She said.

"Did we? Because I don't recall it."

"But—"

"Yeah we played you. After I heard your conversation with him I needed to make you feel betrayed like I did. So have a lovely evening, everyone! Thanks for watching." I told everyone who looked at us and then turned to look at Liz. "And you bitch, stay the fuck away."

I ran after Peter and outside to the bus parking. I saw a guy with a weapon in his hand, about to shoot at Peter. "Hey!" I screamed towards the man.

He looked at me and smiled devilish. I tilt my head slightly and then just shot my hands on him and he fell backwards from the wave he got.

Ned came after me and took Peter's webs and shot at him. Peter ran to me and Ned. "The wings guy is Liz's dad."

"What?" Ned asked.

"I know. I gotta tell Mr. Stark. Ames, call Happy."

"What? No, I'm coming with."

"No, Ames, this is my fight."

"But—"

"Ames, call Happy! Ned, truck my phone."

He swang away. "I hate you!" I yelled at him, with a sigh and then me and Ned ran inside to the computer lab while I called Happy.

Peter called Ned from Flash's phone when Happy answered me.

"Happy! Happy, can you hear me? Peter said—"

"Amelia, not now." He hung up.

"He hung up on me." I muttered and called him again.

The lights went on. "What are you doing here? There's a dance." A teacher said.

"We really need to use this room." I said.

"Why?"

"I'm sure the school wouldn't like it when they found out Tony Stark stopped founding them because of you, would they?" i told her sharply.

"Are you threading me, young lady?"

"I don't know. Is my dad Tony Stark?"

She turned the lights back off and walked away.

"Nice." Ned said.

I called Happy. "Amelia!" He yelled when he answered.

"Listen to me, Happy! Someone's gonna steal the Stark stuff! Peter found out—"

"The ship is in the air, Amelia."

"No, you don't get it. He's been trucking a guy with wings. The guy is Liz's dad."

"Your friend Liz?"

"She's not my friend anymore. The point is, it's going to get robbed, and Peter will try to stop him, and he will get killed and I would blame you!"

"Okay, okay. I'll check it out."

After two minutes he called me back. "They're not answering."

"Shit." I hung up.

I put my glasses on. "Hey, Karen." I said.

"Hello Amelia. What can I do for you."

"Please send me one of dad's spare. It is an emergency."

"Amelia—"

"Just do it!"

"Okay. On the way to the school roof."

I put the glasses back in my bag. "Ned, I'm going. I'll call you when I find him." 

"Okay."

I ran out to the roof, the suit was already there. I got inside and flew away.

I looked up at New York. "Karen, is there any crush in the area?" I asked.

"Just below you." I looked down. The whole place was burning.

I landed down and got out of the suit. "Peter! Peter!" I ran around looking for him. "Peter!"

"Amelia!" I heard him calling back.

I looked on my right and he stood there. Covered in blood, sweat and tears. "Oh my god." I let out a sigh.

I ran to him and hugged him tightly. "I thought you were dead."

"And leave you? Never."

I chuckled and looked at him. "Is he—"

"Dead? No. I sticked him, for Happy to find."

"He didn't believe me."

"Why would he? I've been driving him crazy."

"Let's get out of here." I said to him.
