After school I went over to dad's building and took the lift up.

Peter didn't stop calling but I ignored it.

I saw his assistant there, Mandy. "He's in a meeting." She said to me.

"Can you let him know I'm here?"

"Sure."

In a minute Dad walked out smiling towards me. "Hey sweetie."

"Hi dad. Are you not in a meeting?"

"It can wait. We're going down to the labs."

We took the elevator downstairs. A few people were over there but dad kicked them out except one person.

"Hi, Amelia. I'm Dr. Kayla."

"Hi." I said back.

"So you're having trouble with magic?" She asked me.

"I don't know what the trouble is."

"Okay. We'll test it."

She put on my head spots with wire that connected to my brain activity. What I feel, it's gonna show it on her screen.

"Amelia, can you hear me?" She asked through the microphone of the other side of the glass.

"Yes." I said.

"First I'm gonna show you some pictures and then some Scenarios, okay?"

"Okay."

A picture of a cat popped on the screen in front of me. I hate cats. "You don't like cats, Amelia?"

"I hate them."

A picture of my parents popped on the screen. I guess something happened because I saw her writing stuff down.

"What do you feel about your boyfriend, Peter?"

"Um.. I, well, I love him. More than anything. If something would ever happen to him I would lose my shit."

"That's good. Okay, what did you feel when Nat, Steve and Wanda left?"

It was like I could feel my heart broke. "I guess I was hurt. And angry."

"Why?"

"Because on one side they were fighting against my dad. But, they left without saying goodbye. Without saying anything. They just left. They're gone. And I don't know when I'll see them again. And I'm angry because my dad made his choice and that's his consequences. And I'm so pissed!"

The glass that separated us broke down. Snapped. "Oh my god." I muttered.

"Guess we found out what controls it."

"Anger?" Dad asked her. I completely forgot he was there.

"It's the strongest feeling. It makes sense." She looked on her computer. "But I think other feelings might trigger it. Like sadness, hurt, fear."

"How do I control it?" I asked.

"Just pay attention to your emotions. There isn't much you can do other than that."
