After getting dressed with the team uniform, I walked to Ned's room and knocked. He opened the door. "He never came back."

"What do you mean, never came back?"

"He's not here, Amelia."

"No, no, no. That can't be!" I called Peter again. "Where the hell is he!"

"Please be sure all cell phoned are turned off." The woman who hosting the competition said.

I called Peter again just outside the stage. "Amelia, come on." Mr Rogy said to me.

I gave the lady at the entrance my phone and walked on stage.

I didn't pay attention most of the time, but I did answer when I knew.

Then suddenly it was the last question. "We have now entered sudden death. The next correct answer wins the championship."

Mj pressed her button. "Zero." She answered.

"That is correct."

We all cheered and I hugged Mj before running back to my phone.

We went outside a big building, forgot the name. "You guys, I am so proud of you." Liz said.

"Told you we didn't need Peter." Flash said.

"Flash, you didn't answer a single question." I said.

"Amelia." Ned stoped me. "Peter's on the phone." He said to me.

I took his phone out of his hands. "Peter! Are you okay? Where are you!"

"I'm fine. I'm fine."

"You can't do this to me!"

"I'm sorry. Put Ned back on the phone."

"Miss, please walk through." I put the phone in the X-ray machine along with my side bag.

We walked in the elevator. "He wanted to talk to you." I whispered to Ned.

"Oh."

"Guys, where's Mj?" I asked.

"She wanted to stay down." Mr Rogy said.

"Oh, okay."

"The Washington Mounment is 555 feet, five and one eighth inches tall." The tourist lady said to us.

"Notice how the marble and granite are cut around the stone."

"Ned, your backpack is glowing!" I yelled and then it shot upwards and the elevator stopped.

Everyone started to panic.

"Oh my god, look at the ceiling." Flash pointed out.

The ceiling was cracked with glowing red. "Everyone just stay calm." Liz said.

"Oh, we are going do die here." Abraham said, scared.

"No one is dying!" I yelled.

"Okay, I know that was scary but our safety system are working." The lady said.

"Friday, call Peter." I whispered to my phone.

The elevator began to swing a little bit. I felt tears running down my cheeks. Peter isn't answering.

The lady opened the ceiling door above us and people began to climb out. "Guys, go, go." I said.

I wiped every tear that fell down my cheeks but it didn't stop.

"Okay, who's next?"

"Me! My turn!" Flash yelled.

It was me, Ned, Liz, and Mr Rugy. "Flash let the trophy go!" I yelled.

When Flash leaned down to climb out the elevator jumped down.

"I'm so sorry I yelled at you, Liz." I cried.

She squeezed my hand.

Flash handed the trophy to the gaurds and the elevator jumped again when he climbed out.

It got loose and we dropped down we all screamed. Until it stopped suddenly and we all fell to the ground. Then it dropped down again, and Peter as Spiderman dropped on the floor next to us.

The elevator continued to drop down and I couldn't even sob into him. He shot his web up and he stopped the elevator.

"Hey, how you doing? Don't worry. I got you." Peter said in a wired accent.

"Yes! Yes!" Ned said excitedly.

"Hey, hey, hey. Big guy! Stop moving around!" He looked at me. "You okay, Amelia?"

I nodded.

He began to use his web to lift us up enough for the floor and to get out of there.

"Go, go, go. Everybody out!"

Ned, Mr Rugy and Liz climbed out. "Ames, come on!" Liz yelled for me.

I moved a bit and then the elevator dropped. I screamed, reached my hand for Peter but I didn't reach it.

Then I felt his web wrap around my hand. "You're okay. You're okay." I felt softness in his voice.

He pulled his webs towards him, lifting me up slowly. Until his hand got mine. I felt warm just from his touch.

"It's okay. You're okay." He pulled me away towards my friends.

"So everyone is okay?" He asked and then his web got loosened and dropped down.

"No!" I yelled.

"Come on, let's get out of here." Liz said.

She pulled me up and we walked down the stairs.

Outside the building was Mj and Peter was next to her.

I ran towards him with the strength I had left.

He held me tight when I got in his arms. "You're okay. You're okay." He said in my ear.

"I love you." I said, quietly. "I love you. I love you so much." I looked at him and kissed him.

Kissed him softly and long.

"Thank you." I whispered. "For saving me."

"Always."
