The whole ride back Peter didn't let go of me. Even when we walked down the bus, where all the parents waited, he held my hand.

He had his hoodie on his head, and didn't talk much. I think as much as he love being the superhero he was scared.

May called his name and I could feel his resistance of letting go of my hand. But he needed her and I needed my parents.

I walked as far as I could think the car could be parked. I saw my dad's car.

He was standing just outside it, looking at me. I ran up to him and fall into his arms.

"Hey, baby. You're okay. It's okay."

"I love you, dad."

"I love you too, sweetie."

"Amelia." I heard my mom's voice. "Oh my god. Come here."

I hugged her. "Are you okay?" She asked me.

"Yes. I'm okay. Thanks to Peter."

"Why wasn't he with you in the building again?" Dad asked me.

"You should ask him."

"But I'm asking you."

"Peter is he's own person, dad. This is between you and him. I'm not getting involved."

I took the two days off. I just had to calm down and just be with myself for a while.

When I did go back to school nothing felt different. Except everyone worshipping Peter.

"Don't let it go over your head." I said to Peter when we walked down the hall.

"Never." He smiled. "Do you wanna come over after school?"

"Sure. What for?"

"I need your help with something. I'll explain everything."

"Okay, I'll come." I kissed him and then walked away to my class.

Got a detention. Bring your dad's glasses and meet me at my house.
Got a text from Peter.

"Dad!" I yelled when I walked inside the house. "Mom! Anyone here?"

No answer.

I walked to the basement, where dad keeps all his stuff. "Friday."

"Hello Amelia." The robot replied.

"Did dad make glasses for me?" I asked her, walking around his stuff.

"I don't think I can give your that information."

"You can. Did he? Make glasses for me?"

"Yes."

"Where are they?"

"Second drawer from the left."

"Thank you!" I exclaimed.

I opened the drawer. "Oh my god." They were blue. Just like dad's.

I put them on. "Hi Friday."

"Hi Amelia."

"I'm gonna use your help today, okay?"

"No problem."

"Don't tell my dad about this. Promise?"

"Promise."
