[ michael's pov ]
after luke talked to me, i haven't seen sam, not even once. either she's avoiding me or luke is making her do it.
and giving the circunstances it's probably the second one.
during this week i've thought about sam a lot but i haven't been able to find out anything about her past or about why is she here and i'm starting to loose my patience.
i made a pact with myself about waiting until i find out her dark secret to talk to her again, but i'm tired of the pact and maybe if i ask her about it she will tell me. that's why after having dinner instead of going to my room i make my way up the stairs to go to sam's balcony.
i knew she was going to be there. and i was right.
when i open the door she's sitting on the white couch hugging herself.
she looks at me surprised, at first. then she smiles and shakes her head.
i take that as an invitation to come in, so i step in and sit in the couch next to her.
'hey' i whisper, afraid of talking too loud and disturbing her.
'hey' she whispers back.
i put my legs up copying sam's gesture and we stare in silence at the dark sky, slightly illuminated by a full moon and a few stars.
i don't know how much time goes by until i start feeling cold. i look at sam and she's shivering, so i dare to move slowly closer and closer to where she is. i stop when our legs are touching each other. then i move my arm (also very slowly because i'm still scared about her reaction) around her back.
she looks at me with half a smile on her face.
'it's cold' i shrug trying to hide the fact that i only did it so i could be closer to her.
she laughs silently making me laugh too. i love the sound of our laughs together, it feels so...right.
she looks at me and i look at her and we stop laughing and suddenly the world stops and its just me and her, staring at each other. every second feels like an eternity, our lips getting closer, and then we're kissing.
as the minutes go by our kiss get more intense, suddenly i'm on top of her and she is only on her underwear.
'i love you' she whispers in my ear.
'i love you too'
