okay just some explanations before you continue reading the story:

1- it contains self harm, so if you're going to be triggered please don't read it

2- the story is going to be related to the book 'the perks of being a wallflower' and if you haven't read it yet you might not understand some details of my story but you can always ask me and i'll explain it to you (or you can read the book which is amazing - srly guys the book is perfect you have to read it - or you can watch the movie which is also really good)

that's it, here's the second chapter :-)

when michael wakes up he looks around confused, frowning when he finds himself in an unfamiliar white room that smells like a hospital.

he gets out of the bed, his bare feet touching the cold floor give him goosebumps, but he doesn't care. he just wants to know what is this place and why is he here.

he struggles to remember what happened, and it finally hits him after a few minutes of thinking. he remembers his therapy sesion. he remembers doctor thompson and the nurse. he also remembers the needle, and the thought of the sharp object touching his skin makes him shiver.

michael looks around more carefully, trying to find out where he is. the place is small, there's only a bed which is in the middle of the room and a white small window in the right. the window has white grills on the outside which makes him frown.

he doesn't like this place.

michael feels the urge to get out of there, so he runs towards the door.

it's locked.

his breathing becomes choked and irregular.

he's scared, he doesn't want to be in this room.

'let me get out' he begs hitting the door with his fists.

'let me get out!' he screams.

he feels like the walls are getting closer every second, he can't breathe properly and his cheeks are wet from the tears, but he hasn't noticed that he's crying yet.

'please let me get out' his screams are getting louder, his vision is blurred and his sobs sound really desesperated now.

after what it seems ages to michael although it's only a couple of minutes, two nurses come into the room.

by the time they enter michael is in the floor crying with his eyes closed, but he still hears the women screaming the same word again and again: michael.

michael?

who is michael?

the name sounds somehow familiar to him, but he can't seem to realize why.

soon his body gets heavier as he slowly gets back to his regular breathing, and a few seconds later he's fast asleep.

this time when michael wakes up he finds a man sitting at the edge of his bed.

he stands up in the bed recognizing the man.

'doctor thompson?'

'hi charlie'

'what am i doing here?' the boy asks.

'you have to stay here for a while'

'why?'

'your mum wants you to be here'

he nods understanding.

he loves his mum, and if she says that she wants him here, he will stay.

'you know what is this place, right?' doctor thompsom asks him.

the boy shakes his head frowning.

'this is the ainsworth center for medical health'

'what?' he asks confused 'why am i here?'

'we will talk about it tomorrow'

michael wants to complain but he feels too tired to even try.

'bye charlie' the doctor says getting up from the bed and walking out of the door. 'get some sleep yeah?'

michael doesn't asnwer.

he stares at the white wall in front of the bed leaving his mind blank.

he doesn't want to think, so he doesn't.

after a few hours the door opens again.

michael turns around to see who is it and he opens his eyes wide when he finds the tall and skinny figure of his best friend.

'patrick!?'
