Happy He's Home. (A stobotnik book)

~Chapter 5~

No one's POV (Also holy shit todays chapter is a rollercoaster so buckle up.)

Today was the day. Dr Robotnik was going with knuckles to steal the master emerald and win a battle against sonic. Stone stayed at the small coffee shop with Eggette to make sure she was safe and so Ivo would know not to hit there. It had been hours since stone had seen Ivo and he was starting to get worried. Was Ivo ok? Did he get hurt? Where is he? That's when he heard what seemed like thunder? Was there an earthquake? Stone quickly ran to Eggette and held her close.

"Dad what's happening?" Eggete said, her tone soft and scared.

"I.. don't know, maybe Ivo's back?" Stone said while trying to comfort the small child in his arms.

"I'm scared.." Eggette held her dad close as the banging seemed to get closer.

"Me too honey, me too. But it will be ok I'm sure of it" Stone said as he looked out the window. It seemed like a giant robot? Was that Ivo?

"Uncle Ivo!! Look!" Eggette pointed at the man floating just outside of the machine.

Stone ran outside with Eggette in his arms and shouted, hoping to get the doctors attention "DOCTOR!! TAKE US WITH YOU!" Just after he said that him and Eggette were lifted into the machine and out into a small and safe room like area.

"Woah, this is cool dad! Can I look at the buttons?" Eggette pleaded

"Sure kiddo, don't touch anything without Ivo's permission though ok?"

"Ok dad" Eggete looked at all of the buttons and switches, as if trying to memorize what everything did. Then Stone saw Ivo teleport into the machine and start fighting sonic. It seemed really difficult for Ivo, and it seemed to take a lot out of him to control the robot.

Stone and Ivo started talking about how stone would be able to attack when Ivo teleported in and started pressing a bunch of buttons, giving Eggete and Stone access to all of the buttons and switches. Eggette did most of the button pressing because she knew more about the robot somehow, but Stone helped a fair amount. The battle was going good and it seemed like they were winning until the stupid creatures took the mater emerald. Thats when it started going downhill, Ivo was losing energy. And very quickly. Sonic started beating up the robot, and before they knew it the robot was falling over. Crashing down.  Eggette screamed in fear before robotnik teleported them outside the robot, just out of sonics view.

"Ivo, please get Eggette home. She knows the way and can help you, I'll be home in a little while. We have to move." Stone said, his tone was firm. There was no talking him out of this.

Stone handed Eggette to Ivo and smiled at the taller man. Ivo sighed. "Please stay safe Stone."

"I will Ivo. I promise, make sure you two get home ok." Stone then kissed Ivo's cheek and ran off.

"I don't want dad to go.." Eggette couldn't cry right now. She was simply too tired to try and go after her father.

"It will be ok Eggette, let's get home now.." Ivo said while trying to soothe the child. They weren't far from stones house so it wouldn't be that long of a walk. And with that Ivo started heading home.

On the other hand stone just killed a man to get a disguise and be able to get some info on sonic then head home. Stone walked around where the robot was and saw them, sonic and his family. He couldn't hate them.. they were so happy. He wanted that. With Ivo.

"But that won't happen." Stone said in a whisper as he started on his way home. He had gotten all of the info he needed about the hedgehog and how to get Ivo's old equipment back.
