~Chapter 19~

((YO IM BACK NERDS))

Stone woke up with relatively less pain than the day before, not counting the slight pain in his arm as he forgot to take of his prosthetic the night before. He took of the fake arm and started his day. Taking a shower, brushing his teeth, getting dressed, putting the prosthetic back on so he could make breakfast. But what he saw in the kitchen almost break down into tears. Happy ones of course!

All of his children doing their best to try and cook something simple, Metal doing everything involving the oven, Eggette being the ringleader and telling everyone what they should do, knuckles stirring something while tails get the table ready.

"Hi papa!! How did you sleep?" Tails said excitedly before running over and hugging stones leg, Eggette and Metal following shortly after.

"I slept great thanks for asking you little fluff ball." Stone squatted down, dismissing the pain in his legs to hug the children, who quickly hugged back.

"We are doing this as a thank you for letting them stay here, we enjoy having them around. It was me and tails idea." Eggette said proudly before showing stone was they were making, waffles!

"Looks great! Thanks kids." Stone smiled sweetly and kissed them on the top of the head, making sure knuckles wouldn't punch him for doing it first. "I'm going to go wake your dad before the food gets cold. Go ahead and get yourself a situated in your seats ok?" Stone said calmly, wiping the tiredness off his face.

"Ok papa!" Most of the kids said in unison before heading to their seats, though knuckles started cleaning up the kitchen.

Stone walked over to knuckles and put a calm hand on the echidnas shoulder. "Hey kid, I'll clean in a bit. You go eat ok?"

Knuckles nodded and quickly hugged stones leg before going over to the table and getting in a seat.

Stone made his was back to his and Ivo's bedroom, slowing his pace as he walked over to their bed. He sat next to Ivo's sleeping figure, then laying down next to the taller man. "Love, it's time to wake up." Stone chuckled and kissed the tip of Ivo's nose.

Ivo groaned and put one of his hands on stone hip. "Five more minutes amour.." Ivo pulled stone close and kissed his lover.

"The kids made food, come on it's going to get cold." Stone cupped Ivo's face and pulled him in for a quick kiss.

"Ok ok." Ivo sat up, pulling stone with him. "How are you feeling? How's the pain?" Ivo asked as him and stone walked out the room and to the table.

"I'm fine my love, now let's get on with our day." Stone said calmly, smiling like a fool.

The days seemed to go by quicker, their family was happier. The days turned into weeks, tails and knuckles didn't go home to sonic. Though he had come to visit, the interaction went something like this.

"Hey tails!" Sonic yelled from outside the house, this was right before the force field was finished.

"Sonic?! What are you doing here!" Tails flew out the window and stood in front of sonic.

"I miss ya buddy! Where would I be without my sidekick!" Sonic wrapped an arm around tails shoulder, though the fox moved away from the touch.

"Sonic I'm more than just some sidekick.." Tails said while he shuffled his feet, just then knuckles came outside.

"Hedgehog? What are you doing here?" The echidna stood in front of tails, guarding the fox.

"What am I not allows to see my friend?" Sonic went around knuckles to tails. "Anyways it's time for you guys to come home! I need your help!"

"So you only came because you need them huh." Stone stood in the doorway.

Sonic looked away. "Quiet man, who are you anyways?"

"Oh you don't recall? I used to work with Robotnik. Though I'm dating him now, anyways kids lunch is ready." Stone smiled at the fox and the echidna as they walked inside before glaring at the hedgehog.

"Listen, leave us alone. You treated us like garbage, now get out of here before I go get Robotnik." Stone said to sonic.

Sonic spat at stone before running off.

"What the hell. Stupid rodent." Ivo said before wrapping his arms around stones waist and wiping the saliva off with a towel.

"It's fine, now. I have something planned for us later." Stone smiled and turned around to hug his lover, Who gave him a kiss.

"Oh! I have something planned for you too! Meet me where we had our first date?" Ivo suggested.

"Ok my love. Now let's eat" Stone said before giving Ivo a quick kiss on the cheek and going to the kitchen.

~later because I'm a lazy fuck~

"Amour!~" Ivo called to stone, his mechanical flowers in hand. "I believe these are for you." Robotnik handed stone the flowers.

"Oh thank you! I forgot to get some I'm sorry love. But I did get the spot ready. And the kids are asleep."

"Good. That means I get you all to myself." Ivo said delightfully, Putting his hands on stones waist as he guided the other man out of the house.

"I hope you like how it looks. Eggette helped me." Stone smiled and gave Ivo's a kiss, wrapping his arms around his lovers torso.

"It's lovely. I'm happy you did this for me, I have a surprise for you amour." Ivo cupped stones cheeks as they sat down at their spot.

"I have a surprise for you too, though I would like to wait till later to give it to you. For now, we have our date." Stone leaned in and kissed Ivo again.

Robotnik kissed back lovingly, letting stone slip closer to him." I will have to agree with you on that."

The date went smoothly. The loving and flirty comments to one another and holding each other as they looked at the stars, and giving the other an occasional glance.

Stone laughed at Ivo's joke, for a man with a stern exterior you would never expect him to be such a funny man. "I love you so much Ivo." He said as he put his hand in his pocket.

"I love you even more stone, I have something to say." Robotnik said with a smile as he too put his hand in his pocket, his other hand holding stone's.

"I have something to say too." Stone said before shifting himself to be facing the other man and being on one knee.

"Say it at the same time?" Ivo said as he shifted to be on one knee also.

"Of course." Stone said with a smile.

They pulled the boxes out of their pockets and held it out to the other smiling and crying with joy. (Well Ivo was close to crying. Stone almost sobbing.)

"Will you marry me?" They said in unison. Before stone almost tackled Robotnik in a hug.

"Of course I'll marry you my love. I would like nothing more.." Stone said softly.

"I'll marry you. Seeing as I just asked." Ivo said, you could almost hear his smile.

Stone got off of Ivo to better show him the ring. It was one of sonics rings. Ivo showed stone his ring, made specially to be able to communicate through universes.

"I got the ring from tails. So you have an easier way of getting home if you ever get blasted off this planet again.

"I made the ring with Eggette's help. She knew what colors you would like best on it."

They slipped the rings onto each other's fingers before walking back into the house and having a long waited night of love and passion. They deserved it, the longing for one another finally fading as they became one. They fell asleep in each other's arms.
