~Chapter 12~

Stone and Ivo looked at each other lovingly before looking back at Metal and Eggette.

"We are a family, and we will always be a family." Stone said softly, his voice full of care and love.

Metals expression seemed to turn happy as he hugged stones leg again. "I feel.. good."

Ivo held Eggette in his arms and patted Metal on the head. "Ok everyone! Time for a family photo! Does anyone have a camera?" He smiled as stone handed him his phone to take a picture. "Thank you amour, now everyone smile!"

Stone picked up Metal into his arms even though he weighed near 200 pounds. It was like his usual workout. He got close to Ivo and Eggette as they took the picture. Everyone was happy, and life finally seemed to be going their way. It was ... perfect.

"The photo came out great dad!" Eggette said as she snatched the phone from Ivo's hand to show to Stone.

"I see! You guys look great!" Stone kissed Ivo's cheek and smiled at his children.

"And so do you mon amour~" Ivo kissed stones neck sweetly.

"Ew! Get a room!" Eggette looked away and stuck her tongue out in disgust. "I'm never getting a boyfriend!!" She yelled.

"What's happening? What is so bad?" Metal questioned.

"Nothing bad is happening, me and Ivo were kissing. It's how we show our love and care for each other" Stone explained to the robot-child thing.

"Hm. I shall put that data into my system" Metal looked at Ivo then back to Stone before shutting down.

"Hey what happened?" Ivo said before tapping the robot and Stone out Metal down onto the desk.

"He's tired. It's what he does to recharge!" Eggette got out of Ivo's arms and typed something onto her computer to show to Ivo and further explain it to him.

"Oh, ok then. That's pretty smart to say the least." Ivo said.

"Oh! Speaking of smart I need to enroll you into school! You need to finish your grade" Stone looked at Eggette for approval to which she squealed with delight.

"Yeah! Thanks!" Eggette smiled before turning back to the computer and working.

"Nerd." Ivo said jokingly while waving his hand.

Eggette gasped and put her hand on her chest. "I am offended!" She said sarcastically.

Ivo and Eggette bickered with each other so much that they didn't hear a knock at the door, so Stone went upstairs to get the door, "One moment!" He called out to the person at the door. Stone got to the door and opened it and his smile faded as soon as he saw who it was.

"Hey.." They said. "Is Eggman here?"

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Stone yelled angrily. "Leave me and my family alone!" and with that stone went to slam the door, but it was blocked by Sonic's body.

"I need him! He is evil!!" Sonic yelled right back at the anger filled man.

"What's going on up there?!" Ivo yelled to his boyfriend.

"Stay down there Ivo! Its not safe!" Stone pressed a button on his gloved hand which shut and locked the room that Eggette and Ivo were in.

"Get out Sonic! Ivo gave up on fighting you! Let me and my family be happy damnit!" Stone tried to kick the hedgehog out of the house but the speedster swiftfully dodged and ran further into the house.

"NO! I will make this world safe from people like him!" Sonic hit stone with a spinball attack, crushing some of his ribs and making him fall over in pain.

"Fuck! Ivo gave up on fighting you ok?! Just leave us alone.." Stone sat up and held his ribs, he then broke the button that would let Ivo and the others out, knowing there was a code that would let them out.

"STONE! DAMNIT LET ME OUT!! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Ivo was scared to death for his lover. hearing the yell of agony come from him.

"Ivo! Get eggette and go hide!" Stone stood up and ran to the kitchen, grabbing a gun out of one of the cabinets.

"Look man, if you don't give me Eggman we will have to take him by force!" Sonic said as he dodged the bullets being shot at him from stone.

"Eggette go hide right now. I will follow you in a minute ok?" Ivo knelt down to the child's level and put his hands on her shoulders.

Eggette nodded and grabbed Metals hand, leading him to a safe like rea to keep them safer than they were.

Ivo pounded on the door with all  of his body force. "Stone! Let me help! Please!!" he yelled.

"Ivo! Go hide with Eggette right now or so help me I will smack you when this is over!" Stone shot at sonic, then getting hit with another spinball attack. "FUCK!"

"What the hell just happened?! Stone?!" Ivo pounded on the door again and figured it was no use. He ran to Eggette and shut the safe like thing they were in and locked it tight, then disguising it to hide it from others.

"Sorry man, I have to use force now. Hey guys! come get him!" Sonic yelled to people outside. They barged in and from what stone saw it was the government and the military.

Stone got carried into a truck where he was tired to a chair. "Damn you people! Robotnik gave up! Leave us alone!" He yelled, anger prominent in his voice.

"Where is Robotnik." Someone said to stone, their face covered by darkness. 

"Like I'll tell you! Leave my family alone!" Stone yelled and grit his teeth. That got him a punch to the face.

"Look, we don't want to use force with you. But we will if we have to. So tell us, Where. Is. He."

"Go fuck yourself." Stone spoke through his teeth. He got punched again, harder this time. "I'll tell you over my dead body." he looked down, tiredness overcoming him making him pass out.

With Ivo, Eggette, and Metal.

"Papa.. I'm scared..." Eggette cried and hugged Ivo, making him sit on the floor so she could cuddle up to him and feel safe.

Ivo stroked her hair and held her close. "I'm scared too, But I'll make sure we will be ok. I promise."

"Really?" Eggette said through sobs.

"Of course" Ivo reassured, giving the child in his arms a light squeeze.

"Ok papa.." Eggette said softly before falling asleep.

"What is happing papa?" Metal said as he sat next to Ivo.

"People.." Ivo sighed. "They are out to get me."

"Why?" Metal looked at Ivo.

"I did bad things, But I stopped. I want to be a happy family."

"Then why are they still trying to get you?" The child like figure questioned.

"Because they think I'm still bad." Ivo looked down and felt tears welling up in his eyes.

"But you-" Metal was interrupted by the yells of Government agents and the military at the main door of the lab.

"Open up! Or we will use brute force!" They yelled.

"Shush, Don't talk anymore." Ivo instructed the robot. Metal nodded.

Ivo and Metal then heard the main door get banged for what seemed like hours before the people gave up. "Seems like that stone dude locked it tight. Guess we will have to beat the code out of him."

This left Ivo pissed, they were going to beat the shit out of stone just so they could et to him?! Ivo knew that no matter how much they beat him he wouldn't speak. For the first time he didn't know what to do. It hurt. A lot. "I will save you stone. If its the last thing I do." and little did Ivo know stone was thinking the same thing.
