Tony Stark fumbled with the coffee machine, preparing his morning coffee. The news was being played on one of his hologram devices in the background.

Steve Rogers came out of the elevator, back from his morning run. Stark Tower has become a sort of home for many of the Avengers. Natasha Romanov and Clint Barton came out of the training room, having just finished sparring.

Bruce Banner was already seated at the dining table with a stack of pancakes in front of him, waiting to be eaten.

They all settled around the table and made eye contact with each other. Then, by unspoken agreement, they lunged towards the pancakes and snatched them up, like hungry animals.

"Aha!" cried Clint, having gotten the first pancake. His excitement was short-lived as the others quickly snatched the rest of the pancakes, leaving him with only one.

Natasha smirked at his pout and said, "Should've acted fast instead of celebrating."

Clint scowled, munching on his single pancake.

Tony, who had taken most of the pancakes grinned smugly, "Better luck next time, Barton."

Bruce rolled his eyes at his teammates' antics and gave Clint one of his pancakes which was followed by Clint giving him heart-eyes.

The table was rowdy as usual as the team bantered and laughed, relishing in the recent free time they had been granted.

After defeating Thanos, Director Fury decided that the Avengers should take a break for a bit, meaning they were free to fool around however they wanted.

Steve was laughing at his team's antics when he saw the news from the corner of his eye.

The headline wrote, "Paris Heroes, Ladybug and Chat Noir Lost All the Miraculous to Hawk Moth. Is This the End of Paris?"

Steve called out, "Hey, Jarvis, can you make the volume on the TV louder?"

"Yes, sir," Jarvis, Tony's AI system, replied and raised the volume of the news.

This garnered the attention of the rest of the team and they all began to pay attention to the news.

"A few weeks ago, after a long battle, Paris's superheroes, Ladybug and Chat Noir, as well as the rest of their team, have lost all the Miraculous jewels, other than those of the duo, to the villain Hawk Moth. He has not made any sort of attack since then and the superhero duo has yet to make any public statement since the day on the Eiffel Tower, in which Chat Noir appeared to be giving Ladybug a sort of pep-talk. The citizens of Paris appear to have full trust in these two and haven't panicked in the slightest. However, we can't help but question if Ladybug and Chat Noir have what it takes to get all the Miraculous back, especially now that only the two of them are left in the rather large team they had. Is this the end of Paris's heroes? Will Hawk Moth beat them once and for all? Or will they make their comeback?"

The Avengers glanced at each other.

Tony sighed, "You're about to say we have to go help them or some sh—"

"Language!" Steve cried, "And yes, we should help. Their whole team has been incapacitated and the guy they're up against is stronger than ever.

Natasha stood and stretched, "He's right. We should help."

Bruce pondered, "I wonder if we help they'll tell us more about those Miraculous of theirs. I've always been curious about how they work."

Tony added, "I doubt it, considering how little they've told the media it seems they're quite secretive about it...but it wouldn't hurt to try..."

Both Tony and Bruce have been quite interested in the Miraculous after the first appearance of Paris's superheroes.

Clint groaned, "But we just finished fighting our own insane battle! That was, like, only a month ago. I don't wanna be away from my kids again so soon."

Steve patted his shoulder, "But these heroes look like they're kids, too. What if something happens to them? And all of Paris for that matter."

The Avengers became solemn. They each looked down and questioned what the best course of action should be.

"Mr. Stark!" suddenly, their brooding got interrupted by Peter Parker, who excitedly came into the room.

Without reading the room he announced, "My class is going to Paris on a field trip for a few weeks because of some sort of American-Parisian celebration thing!"

Peter glanced around, "Hey, what's up with you guys?"

Tony sighed, "Seems like we're all going to Paris, too. There's no way in hell that I'm letting you go straight into a basically unprotected city alone."

Peter looked confused, "Huh?"

Tony ordered Jarvis to play the news clip again for Peter to see.

"Ooh, so we're helping them?" Peter questioned.

"Not you. Us. You just enjoy your class trip," Tony answered.

Peter gave him an exasperated look, "Mr. Stark! I'm not some kid, you know? I can help too. I helped during the battle with Thanos, I can help with this."

Natasha's eyes shifted between the two of them, "He's right, Tony. Let him help."

Tony groaned, "...Fine. But no dangerous stuff. And no going around on your own. I don't want to worry your Aunt May."

Peter smiled brightly, "Yes! Thank you! You won't regret it."

Tony sighed and muttered, "I already am."

"Jarvis, tell Fury what we're doing and get someone to have the helicarrier ready for us by tonight. Kid, you come to us with your class, we don't want to alert anyone about your identity."

"Right away, sir," Jarvis replied.

Peter nodded in excitement.

"Let's get ready," Steve said, and the Avengers all stood to prepare for their long trip.
