Chapter 29

I slowly told them everything that happened. The whole time, Patrick was hugging me tightly.

Out of all of the family, I feel like I love Patrick the most. I'm not sure why. But I feel as if we are closer. The rest of the band are always busy and Nate is out a lot lately.

So, Patrick is the one I am around most. Not that I am complaining. He is really cool and nice. Pete is other favorite. I love them all though.

"Maybe you should go upstairs and eat. I'll make you something", Patrick says to me. I nod, "Okay".

"I'll bring you upstairs.", Pete tells me. "I'll get you a present!", Andy and Joe say at the same time. I giggle happily and Pete begins to carry me up the stairs.

Nate watches from afar. My eyes meet with his, and we both look away.

"We have another concert soon", Pete tells me. I smile, "Yay!" "But school first... You have to have at least a b in each class. Or you will not watch the concerts."

I groan, "Alright. Wait I have school tomorrow!" He nods, "Yep. I wonder what Andy and Joe are going to get you.." I sigh, "I don't know"

~A few hours later~

"Brittany! We are back!", Joe yells from the door. I smile and run to them, "What did you get me?!"

They laugh and hand me a box. I open it, and inside is a beautiful violin. They must have heard me play! I smile and hug them. "Thank you so much!", I exclaim happily.

I run to my room and bring the violin back out. I admire it's beauty then begin to play. I smile brightly at the beautiful music.

Then I look at my clock and realize how late it is. I have school tomorrow! Eh, school can wait. I want to listen to some music, scroll through my Tumblr feed, and read some fanfictions.

~{The next day}~
School! I'm going to be late! I quickly throw on my black shirt with a white ring, my jeans, boots, and a llama hat. I run out of my room and at that exact moment. My bus appears.

I smile and walk outside with Nate. "It looks like you are cosplaying as a Youtuber. What's his name..?"

"Danisnotonfire. I was going to wear a pizza shirt or a shirt with a cat pocket but I didn't have time to find them.", I quickly say as I get on the bus.

"Nice hat!", A guy says from the back of the bus. I smile at him and wave. He is in my third hour Art class. He is nice and very cute. "Come sit by me!", He says. I look at Nate and then the boy.

"Alright!", I exclaim and walk to him. "Hey, you're Brittany right? My name is Greg.", He tells me. I smile at him, "That's a nice name"

He nods, "Your brother seems like a nice dude. Maybe I could become his friend so I can go to your house." I giggle, "Yeah. Nate is really nice and caring to me."

"Here is my number. Text me sometime", he gives me his number as the bus stops at school.

I squeal loudly as he walks away and I run to my first hour class.

Halfway through the lesson I get a text from Patrick.

P: Hey. Something happened at home. Don't... and I mean this. Don't come home tonight. I have Pete bringing you money. Make a friend or two and book a hotel. I don't care. Just don't come back home.

B: Um. Ok. Hope everyone is okay. Love you.

P: Love you too.

I am nervous for the rest of the school day, until seventh hour. "Hey! Is that the shirt that Danisnotonfire wears?!", I hear a girl ask me. I turn around and smile at her.

"Yeah it is! You know him?", I ask. "Yes! Dan and Phil are literally my favorite youtubers! Well, tied with Markiplier and Peanutbuttergamer!"

I smile at her, she seems like an awesome person! "Favorite bands, animes, book, fanfictions or not, TV shows, ships, and where would you like to visit when you are older."

"Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and My Chemical Romance. Attack on Titan, Hetalia, and Black Butler. I have too many favorites! Fanfictions are life! Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Librarians, and Supernatural. Johnlock, Phan, Mystrade, KicktheStickz, and a bunch of others. London and Japan", she answers every question so easily.

I smile at her, "What's your name?" "Tabitha. But call me Cat or Lion. How about you?" "I'm Brittany!"

"No way! You are Petes daughter! Oh my gosh!", She squeals loudly and hands me her number. "We should totally hang out later!"

I nod, "I'm getting a hotel tonight and possibly a few more nights. My brother, Nate, will be there and so will Internet and pizza. I invite you to come with me after school!" She smiles brightly her freckles showing, "Sure!"

Tadaaaaa! I thought it was about time for our precious main character to get some friends. Because her life was not very social with humans from school.
