(This chapter will have songs in it! The songs will be listed at the end of the chapter. ^•^)

The concert was fun. Actually, that's an understatement. It was fantastic and amazing, and so much fun. That's more like it. Nate and I would sing along to the lyrics, since we both knew them well.

Brendon decided that he should sing I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Which, if you have ever seen the videos on YouTube about it, was extremely hilarious. And of course, he did backflips. Because why not.

Once it was over, there was the whole VIP thing where the people who had them could meet Brendon and whatever else they did. "Hey. So are you gonna come back stage by us?", he asks. We shake our heads, "No. We will stay here." Brendon is confused as to why we would want to stay in the room without anyone else, but didn't question it.

I go onto the stage and grab a mic. Nate and I exchange a look, he joins me on stage. He grabs a mic as well and looks at it.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever heard him sing. "What song..?", he asks. I shrug, "Dunno. You can pick." He thinks for a few moments before smiling. "I have the perfect song." (I am so tempted to put the Phandoms anthem. Don't do it.)

(Italics is Brittany. Bold is Nate. Bold Italics is both.)

It's 10 past 2, still up thinking of you
If I showed you all I really want to
Would you stay, dare to push me away
I just can't return anymore

Timid heart, hide my scars
Make me stronger

I can't take this any longer
I need, I need you like water
It's on the tip of my tongue
I'm not asking for much
Just your love and not another
Cause your embrace keeps me warmer
Could I tell you this time
How I wish you were mine

My voice cracks, I wait for it to pass
Heart beats fast for words I can't take back
And so I pray I don't drive you away
Cause I'm scared of what I have to tell you

Timid heart, hide my scars
Make me stronger

I can't take this any longer
I need, I need you like water
It's on the tip of my tongue
I'm not asking for much
Just your love and not another
Cause your embrace keeps me warmer
Could I tell you this time
How I wish you were mine

I'll take you higher, take you high
I can make you come alive
Open your eyes, change your mind
I'll take you higher, take you high

I can't take this any longer
I need, I need you like water
It's on the tip of my tongue
I'm not asking for much
Just your love and not another
Cause your embrace keeps me warmer
Could I tell you this time
How I wish you were mine
How I wish you were mine
How I wish you were mine

Nate smiles at me, "Wow. We actually remembered every lyric. I'm proud of us." I laugh, "I am too. Should we sing another?" He nods, "You pick this time." I tell him the first song that comes to mind.

It's weird to sing on a stage. I've always wanted to, and I have a few times. But it still shocks me when I stand on a stage with a mic in my hand. I feel like I have. Power. If I say something, people in the crowd will listen. If I sing something, people in the crowd will enjoy it. It's a great power. (One day I will add the Phandoms anthem to this. But today is not that day.)
