Epilogue

-Several years later-

Nate grabs my hand and we start to walk outside the house. "We'll be back in a while guys!", I call out. Patrick and Pete reply, "Okay!" Nate chuckles and we go to his car. He drives to the closest adoption center, the one that I came from.

"Hello! Welcome! What can we help you with?", the person at the desk asks.  "We are here to adopt.", Nate says. She grins, "Fantastic! It's been quite a while since our last adoption. It's great to have some more people. Can I have your names, ages, and relationship status?"

"Nate Kyota. Age 23. Married.", Nate says smiling. She writes it down then looks at me. "And you?"
"Brittany Kyota. Age 23. Married." She grins, "Aww. Alright. Any particular age you two want?"
Nate looks at me, "You can pick.." I think for a moment, "Nine and older. Please." She nods and makes an announcement.

We follow her to where a bunch of kids are lined up. One little girl with long blonde hair catches my eye. She must have caught Nate's too because he walks to her. "Hey there. What's your name?" She smiles, as if her dreams have come alive. "I'm Amethyst! I'm ten years old!" Nate smiles, "You are very pretty. Are your eyes... Purple?" Her face seems to go from happy to slightly sad. "Oh... Yeah. They are.. My mom and dad said that they wanted a normal kid... Not a witch.. So they gave me away.."

Nate hugs her then looks at her with a giant smile, "I think your eyes are beautiful." I smile and ruffle her hair, "I agree.." We both walk away for a moment. "I really want to get her..", I say quietly. He nods, "I do too. Let's find another kid.."

As I look down the line I see people that I may consider, but I wouldn't choose. Until I see a guy wearing pastel clothing and a colorful flower crown. "Hey Nate.. I want to talk to him..", I whisper and nudge my head towards him. Nate smiles, "He looks interesting." We go to him.

"Hello, I'm Brittany and this is Nate. What's your name?" He looks shocked, "Uhm. I-I'm Gabriel.." Nate smiles, "Nice name. Isn't that a character from Supernatural, Brittany?" I nod then look back at Gabriel. "How old are you?" He smiles slightly and adjusts his flower crown. "I'm twelve.."

"I like your flower crown. I own quite a few of them.", I tell him. He giggles, "Cool. I have a few. I'm not really supposed to buy any. But the owner likes me. So she lets me. I don't really like it here. I get made fun of a lot. Since I'm a guy that like wearing 'girl clothes' as they call it. But I don't get what is wrong with a guy wearing pastel clothes.." I smile, "I don't get it either."  I look at Nate, "Yes or no?" He looks at me, "I think yes..." I smile, "Yay!"

We go to the lady who was assisting us. "We want Amethyst and Gabriel.", Nate says with a smile. The lady grins, "Awesome! They've been here for a long time. Parents didn't accept them and kinda just dumped them off here. I'm sure they will be very glad to be adopted." The lady faces all the kids, "Back to your rooms! We will announce who is being adopted in a few minutes!"

All the kids leave, and our choices must be obvious. Amethyst grins at us and Gabriel smiles shyly before they both leave to their rooms.

A/n:

I can't believe it's over! I'm actually kinda sad. I've been writing this almost the whole time I've been on Wattpad.

But luckily, I do have a choice for you readers! I will talk about it in a moment. And this is a very important question so please answer it!

I do want to explain something.
Some of you may be wondering why Nate changed his last name back to Kyota. And the reason is. They didn't really want people to think of them as "Pete's daughter and Patrick's son". They wanted to be known as "Brittany and Nate".

Another thing is that they were not related in any way. They did call each other brother and sister at one point. But it didn't last long. After a while, Nate realized his feelings and kinda stopped. So Brittany just kinda stopped too.

I hope you all liked the ending, because I knew for sure I wanted it to end like this. Where everything is calm, there are no huge problems, they are safe and living with Patrick and Pete. And they adopt two kids. Just because Brittany knows what it was like. And Nate felt bad for the kids with a sad background like he had.

So now. The choice I was talking about!

I have decided that if you want me to. I will make a sequel. It will be the same characters, possibly a few more,  just in Amethyst and Gabriel's point of view.

I actually really want to do that. I don't want to end these characters stories yet. I would hate to let them go, as they are some of my favorite character I have ever created. So if you want me to make a sequel. Please comment saying so!

I am also working on the prequels for them. And they will be posted soon, hopefully.
