Standing backstage I'm nervous.

"It will be fine Serenity, fans already love the song. It's high in the charts"
"But is it good enough?"

Hands rest on my shoulders and I look up at my manager

"Don't doubt yourself. Go perform with all of your emotions, you are more than enough Serenity"

Nodding I head up on stage. There is no extravagent choreo to go with the song, just my voice and the instrumental. Standing at the mic stand I took a breath, waiting for the music to start. I can do this I have put my heart and soul into this comeback.

There is silence after I perform but I head back to my waiting area

"You did amazing Serenity"
"It was quiet"
"That's because you blew them away"

"When you can look at what fans are posting on social media"

"Shut up that doesn't happen"

Taking off my in ear monitor I exit the room. Walking around I let myself breathe now that the stress of the performance is over. I softly hum a song as my footsteps echoed throughout the halls. I feel someone walk into me, glancing I see it's a man around my age

"Oh sunbaenim"

I tilt my head at the address

"You should be a bit more careful"
"I will be"
"Are you debuting today?"
"Yeah, my hyungs and I are"

I smile softly

"What's your group name?"
"Seventeen"
"Is there Seventeen of you?"
"No thirteen"

Looking closer I can see that he's proud being in the grouo

"Are you the youngest?"
"Yeah, my name is Chan or well Dino"
"Hmm I think Chan is a nice name, how old are you?"
"I'm a year younger than you sunbaenim"
"Call me Noona then"
"Really?"
"Yeah"

We continue walking as we head back to where his group is. I see wide eyes as we get closer

"We found your group"
"Because of you noona"

I hear the shocked whispers of Noona

"Hmm but I wouldn't know what any of them would look like"
"Lets just say we both found them then"
"Agree, I should head back before my manager sends a search party"
"Will you watch our performance?"
"Of course, good luck Seventeen but I can see success in your future"

I turn on my heel before heading back to my room. I seemed to have gain a little brother, hopefully I can get closer to the other members.

Glancing around a corner I can see all the fans waiting for the fan sign. Fansigns are usually both nerve wrecking and exciting. I have seen what has been said about the song Human, how so many idols and celebrities are resonating with the song. I've been praised quite a bit about it.

"Ready to face your Sirens"
"Yep, I think they've waited long enough"

Passing through the curtains I can hear the cheering before getting quiet. Today will be long but it will be fun. I make my music for them after all. Hopefully some people will begin to see idols as humans now.
