Hey guys today I'm doing a video about Serenity, well not really about her. For those who are new to the Kingdom of Sirens there is a...black sheep in the fandom. This black sheep is HusbandOfSerenity. He is a Japanese fan who has a youtube channel dedicated to Serenity.
HusbandOfSerenity has been a fan of Serenity since 2016 though he says that he's been a fan since pre-debut. At first he seemed like any other Siren but we all were fooled. He would upload reaction videos and even album unboxings, he was pretty big in the fandom as he was able to show non-japanese fans just how popular Serenity is in Japan.
He had made so many of us bigger named Sirens his friends. I was even one of his friends. I'm getting ahead of myself, let me start from the beginning.
HusbandOfSerenity or Fukuda Kentaro, is a Japan based Siren. He started his Youtube channel back in 2018 where he uploaded reaction videos of Serenity. He was really popular amongst Sirens and it was joked that he would be Serenity's ideal type.
His videos began innocent but in 2019 it all began to take a turn. Kentaro began to become unhinged when Serenity revealed that she is in a relationship with NCT's Jaehyun. He began to bad mouth NCT mainly Jaehyun, saying he is forcing Serenity to date him.
Kentaro went from making innocent reactions to making almost distrubing reactions as well as vlogs. Anytime Serenity was in Japan he would post vlogs and making posts about trying to find her.
Kentaro was beginning to send death threats to Jaehyun and even making threats towards Serenity. He was starting to take a huge turn from the innocent youtube reacter to a dangerously unhinged person.
In 2020 Kentaro had gone completely radio silent. He was uploading videos, responding to messages nothing. No one who was close to him heard from him until he sent a picture of him in Korea. The picture could've been innocent but it wasn't.
Kentaro had flown to Korea and found out where Serenity and Jaehyun lived. He had said that Jaehyun was only using Serenity, how he was her soulmate. He had gone there to kill Jaehyun. Luckily a Siren in Korea had got in contact with the police and even Aurora.
Kentaro was arrested, it was found out that when he went M.I.A that he was plotting how to kill Jaehyun and even how to kidnap Serenity. Those who were friends with Kentaro were in shock, we all washed our hands of him.
It was revealed that he really believed that he was Serenity's ideal type and that she was sending him secret messages and hints. He had got himself so lost in his dreams and imagination that he lost who he was.
There was one bright thing about this which was Serenity and Jaehyun never knew what was going on, well until Serenity found out. Serenity had made a video saying that Kentaro would be blacklisted by the company and that both Serenity and Jaehyun will try to get a restraining order.
Now as of 2022 HusbandOfSerenity has been cancelled by nearly all Sirens and even by NCTzens. I ask that any new fan of Serenity or NCT please do not watch or even interact with HusbandOfSerenity, he is still making reaction videos but he gets copyright strikes as Aurora does not want him profiting off of Serenity, considering he was blacklisted.
Usually I would end on a positive note but as Kentaro was a good friend I found this video hard to make. I never thought he would go so far and try to kill someone as well as kidnap someone. Kpop Idols make music for us to enjoy, a place to escape to. Please remember that idols are human and have personal lives, respect their boundaries.
