Chapter 4

A/N: Hey guys! Welcome to chapter 4 of my fanfiction. I hope you are all having a nice day, and I must say, you are looking very nice is those clothes you're wearing. Nothing else to say other than enjoy chapter 4, on with the story!

Frankenstein's POV

I walk out of my lab only to see Tao and Takeo sitting on the floor, with y/n asleep in Takeo's arms. I quickly went over and started to ask questions but they assured me that y/n was just asleep due to exhaustion from panicking and that they were about to pick her up and put her in bed.

After putting her to bed we went to the lounge to discuss what just happened when the front door opened and in walked master, Seira, Regis, and Rael. The four of us decided to keep this from the others for now until we could gain her trust, then we would introduce her to the others. My master walked over to his seat on the couch and I followed, offering him some tea to which he agreed and I went off to make his tea, having the other 3 follow me (M-21 found us when we put y/n to bed) so we could discuss what to do, I also gave them her name and Tao told me that he told her all of our names so she knew who the 4 of us were. I finished making the tea so I went and served it to master, also giving him some biscuits and excusing myself so I could go check up on y/n, although I didn't tell him that.

I got into the room just as she was waking up and she looked almost peaceful when she realised that she was safe, although the expression stopped when she saw me, and it almost immediately turned to one of fear so I decided to ask why she was so afraid of me.

"Why are you afraid y/n" I asked her gently.

"You're a scientist" She replied, it confused me but I nodded, not seeing what that had to do with any of this.

"But what is wrong with me being a scientist?" I questioned her, wondering why she brought it up.

"Because you might experiment on me and hurt me." She replied, sounding so scared, like this has all happened before and that she did get hurt.

"I would never hurt you or experiment on you, I would never even dream of it, why would you think that?" I asked almost hurt, how could she ever think I would hurt her by my own choice? What has she gone through that led to this?

"The other people did though, and others beat me up" She replied shakily in a low voice. I was shocked to hear this, who would hurt this precious, innocent girl?

"What were the people called?" I asked, trying to figure out who did this to her, and maybe why.

"My parents and other kids beat me and bullied me, but my parents' beatings were the worst, they would use tools, it hurt so much." She replies, tears threatening to spill down her face, she sounded in pain.

"There were other people who experimented on me and hurt me with needles, I heard them talking about them being in the Union or something, I didn't listen much, they always hurt me to keep themselves busy" She answered. I grit my teeth, so the Union were the people experimenting on her, and apparently she was bullied and her parents abused her, just what has she gone through, I mean I could tell it was bad with the scars completely covering her body, but this is too much.

I decided to help get her to sleep when she cuddled up to me, making me so happy that she trusts me so much that she would happily be close to me. I get her to finally drift off to sleep when I decide to get and go tell master what has happened, and what we should do or how we can help. I can't keep things from master, if he doesn't know already, that is.

Raizel's POV

I saw standing by the window watching the moon, but all of these weird emotions kept coming from the bloodlink from Frankenstein. I decided to call him out so I could ask him what it was all about when he decided to tell me everything. He then went on to explain how Tao, Takeo and M-21 had found a seriously injured girl in an alleyway, decided to bring her home, have Frankenstein heal her the best he can, have all of them get attached to her, and then have them try to hide her from everyone else. I could see and understand why they did what they did, but I still would like to meet her. Maybe I could go and see her later on in the night, or maybe I should go in the morning so I don't freak her out at having a strange man in her room at night. I was deciding what to do so I decided to send Frankenstein off to sleep, tomorrow is a holiday so he should be at home and resting seeing as school is cancelled. He nodded and bowed before heading off to his room to go and get some sleep like I told him to. He can be very stubborn sometimes about not wanting to sleep but I guess that just makes him Frankenstein. After I was sure he was gone I made my way to the guest bedroom where the girl should be sleeping.

I softly knocked on the door to see if she was awake but I got no answer so I went in anyways. I found an adorable girl lying on the bed trying to sleep, but she seemed to be having trouble sleeping peacefully as she seemed to be having a nightmare. I know it's wrong but I thought I might be able to help so I went into her mind and saw a tiny bit of what she had to go through, and at such a young age too. I was going to see more but something kicked me out, almost as if someone is trying to protect her in her sleep, or she is doing so subconsciously, which I highly doubt. Just as I was about to go into her mind again to try and help her sleep better it wouldn't let me in, so I was sure that there was something helping to protect her in her sleep, which I am a little bit thankful for, knowing that she was not alone and that someone was protecting her.

Y/n's POV

I was having a nightmare about my parents and one of their punishment sessions, and about being sold to the Union, and how they beat me and experimented on me. I was about to scream when a familiar voice came to me and then the nightmare stopped. I was in a plain white room with nothing around when suddenly tons of souls surrounded me making sure that I was ok.

"Hey, you're okay, it's okay, nothing is happening, no one is hurting you, and no one is going to hurt you, I will make sure of that." Came a voice I recognised as Light spear.

"I trust Frankenstein, he will make sure that you are safe, and nobody in the house you're in will hurt you." Light spear assured me. I was having quite a good time talking to Light spear, so I decided to stay and talk to the souls for a little while before finally drifting off to sleep because Light spear told me to, I trust Light spear with my life, it has saved me from death more times than I can count, it always makes sure I am safe, or as safe as I can be without being revealed and being in more danger, and I love it for that.

That is all for todays chapter, hope it wasn't too long or short as usual. I am trying my best so please stay with me for this. I am thinking I might post 2 chapters every Friday as something  to look forward to at the end of each week, other than of course the end of the week. Please tell me if this is a good idea or not!
