A/N: Hey guys! Sorry I posted late again today, I probably wont be able to post at 1:40pm on the weekends because I will be looking after my dad. I am going to have lunch and then post the extra chapter a little later on, maybe in about 10 minutes. And also sorry it is a little short, I am trying.
-Timeskip to the next day after school- (The children played with the others so they were mostly all out of the house, groceries, hanging out, and other things but they did come back and hang out in Frankie's home [The trio, family leaders, and Rael were busy.])
Regis' POV
I was cleaning the house after the school children had left, leaving all of their mess and food crumbs on the ground. Seira was close to me just sitting on the couch watching me clean up after the kids when she mentioned cleaning the guest bedroom because it had not been cleaned in a while so I agreed and we both made our way to the guest room. I was about to open the door when I heard something from inside the room, meaning that there was someone or something in the guest bedroom. I slammed the door open, trying to find and capture the person who was dumb enough to break into the house when I heard a squeak and a whimper coming from the bed. I looked over to see a small girl lying on the bed, eyes wide and a frightened look on her face after I slammed the door open. I immediately began questioning her, where she came from, and what she was doing in the guest bedroom of the house.
After hearing the squeak come from the girl on the bed, someone came running into the room. I looked over to see Frankenstein come in with a worried look on his face, as if he were afraid of something. He guessed the situation when he saw Seria and myself standing there, and the small girl sitting on the bed, now shaking. I thought that he would immediately ask who she was and what she was doing in the house but instead he ran over to her and gave her a... hug? I was so confused and so was Seira by the look on her face, but it appears that he knows this human, quite well I might say. He started whispering to her, almost as if trying to calm her down, but why would he need to do that? I get it, I startled her but she shouldn't be full on panicking at the moment. Seira decided that it would be best to let them have some time to themselves so we walked out the door, still confused as to who the human girl was.
Frankenstein POV
I was walking around after getting master his tea because he requested to sit in peace and silence. I was passing the guest bedroom heading to my room when I heard some whimpers and heavy breathing so I looked over at the door only to see it open and Regis standing infront of y/n with Seira off to his side. I pretty quickly realised the situation and went in to see if she was okay, which she was not. She was shaking and scared because she didn't know what was going on and who the other people were. I quickly went over to her to calm her down, ignoring the confused stares from the two nobles, I managed to get close enough so I hugged her and reassured her that everything was okay, and that she was safe in this house and in this room. I felt the nobles presence leave and eventually let y/n go, showing her that nobody was there and that she is in no danger, she relaxed in my arms and put her head on my chest, I just sat there hugging her until I felt her body go limp, I smiled realising that she fell asleep in my arms after cuddling.
"Goodnight y/n, sweet dreams" I whisper to her, and she only responds by moving in closer to me, which made my smile widen. I think I might introduce her to all the calm people tomorrow to make sure she isn't overloaded and that a repeat of today won't happen. I might also tell her to call for one of the people she trusts if she doesn't know someone or something, or if she is scared by something.
I ended up relaxing hearing y/ns heartbeat and having her body heat on my chest, so I went to sleep not long after she did and we both slept on the bed cuddling each other. 'Tomorrow is Saturday, so I will introduce her to a couple of the nobles' I thought of before falling asleep completely.
