A/N: Hey guys! I have found some free time so I am posting the second chapter for today! I hope you guys are having a nice day so far and I hope the double chapter makes it even better! I definitely won't be able to posting the chapters over the weekend during the day, so if they do get posted than they will be posted later at night. That's it, now onto the chapter!
Y/n's POV
I had just gone into the kitchen when the boy who shouted at me last time was behind me as I turned around, causing me to bump into him. He shouted at me and I got scared so I tried to curl into a ball to protect myself while apologising. He shouted at him to shut up and stop crying, I started crying harder because I was scared when he slapped me. My breathing hitched when I felt the contact of his hand on my face, I started crying even harder as I apologised more but he just kicked me and at that point I was terrified. I didn't know what to do at that point so I just did all that I knew I could, say sorry, he didn't like that though, I was saying sorry when I felt something go through my stomach, I couldn't scream it just hurt so much, I ended up gasping for air as I collapsed onto the ground, falling unconscious from what I assume to be blood loss.
When I woke up again I was floating in a tube, this is almost exactly like the one at the Union, what if they got me again and they want to do more experiments! I started struggling and a beeping sound was becoming louder and faster which scared me, thinking that they would hear the beeping and would come to find me. I ended up trying to punch the glass and I managed to break the glass, I fell out onto the ground and all of the glass that was surrounding me pierced my skin. I screamed out in pain and agony as all I felt was pain, I was crying and couldn't see anything because of the tears in my eyes. I heard running and I saw people come into the room, I was so scared of who it might be and I couldn't do anything because of the pain. My throat was sore because of all of the screaming I was doing so I went quiet and just sobbed, hoping to not annoy the people in the place anymore. Once I could see a little bit clearer I could make out Frankenstein and Raizel. The pain was too much and I just wanted it to end so I called out to them, hoping that they could help me. They might be able to help me get out of this place and away from experiments, but why would they be here in the first place? I don't really care that much, I just want to be safe and not in pain.
I saw Frankenstein run over to me and I let him, he tried to pick me up but it pushed more glass into my wounds so I let out another scream to show how much pain I was in. I watched as Frankenstein ran away from me and across to a desk and he picked something up before running back over to me. I didn't know what it was but at that moment I didn't care. Frankenstein tried to calm me down but I couldn't and it was getting harder to breathe, I was panicking. Frankenstein looked at me in regret which confused me but I suddenly felt a sharp pain that was worse than anything else going into my arm as I screamed out even louder than before, and glanced at Frankenstein in confusion and betrayal at how he hurt me more. The pain went away for a split second before everything went black and I was out.
Tao's POV
Takeo, M-21 and I just got home after working as special security at the school we work at, Boss (Frankenstein) was not at school though, and neither was Sir Raizel, in saying that, I haven't seen the both of them since last night. The three of us were walking into the kitchen to get some food when we saw a big pool of dried blood in the middle of the kitchen, with some blood splatters on the cupboards as well. We were all shocked to see that, did the Union attack? Is that why we didn't see Boss or Sir Raizel at school all day or last night, were they planning a counter attack or something. We all started discussing what might have happened here when we realised that y/n was still at home, maybe something happened to her. I said about y/n being here so we all ran to her room and opened the door carefully but we didn't see anyone, y/n was not in her room!
We ran out of the room and looked around, we saw a couple of the nobles that were just chilling in the lounge but y/n was nowhere in sight, and neither was Boss or Sir Raizel. We started running around as we were freaked out about what happened and where people were. Rajak came and asked us what we were doing.
"We are looking for y/n, Boss, or Sir Raizel" I replied, Rajak looked down for a second before responding with.
"They are down in the lab" His face was sad, as if something bad happened. 'Why would they be in the lab, and why does Rajak look so sad?' I thought, wondering why he said it in a sad tone.
"If you go down, be quiet and ask Frankenstein about it" Rajak said in a sad tone before walking off to his room, it looked as if he might burst into tears, which shocked and confused us.
"Should we go down?" I asked the others.
"I guess we probably should if we want to know what happened" Takeo replied and M-21 nodded his head in agreement.
No One's POV
The trio headed down to the lab quietly, hoping to finally know what's going on, they made it to the lab and Takeo softly knocked on the door, the three waited for a second before the door opened slowly, exposing a tired looking Frankenstein and a worried and depressed looking Raizel. Seeing this made the trio even more confused than they were before. Frankenstein walked across to Raizel and told him something before walking past the trio, going to his room so he can get some sleep.
Raizel just stood there, watching the unmoving pile of bandages, almost as if he was waiting for it to move. The trio had no clue what was going on so they walked over to Raizel and asked him what was going on.
"Why did Frankenstein look so tired?" M-21 asked.
"He was healing and looking after y/n all day with no breaks" Raizel replied emotionlessly.
"Then why is the lab a mess?" Takeo asked.
"A test tube broke and shattered" Raizel again replied, not breaking his eyes off of the bandages.
"Why are you watching the pile of bandages so closely?" Tao asked curiously.
"It's not a pile of bandages, it's y/n." He replied and got up, walking away and out of the room to go and check on Frankenstein. The trio didn't move an inch from where they were standing, the hearts dropped to their stomachs when they heard the news of y/n. The three of them slowly walked their way across to the bandages before Tao slowly and carefully unwrapped what looked like the shape of a head. When he did so they all gasped as they saw y/n, asleep and pale, almost as if she was dead. They wanted to know how this happened and who did this to her, they had promised that they would protect her and that she wouldn't be in pain again. The trio left the room and it was quiet for a while until a huge light that was bluish purple filled the room, after the light went out y/n had been fully healed with no scar, as if nothing happened.
Haha, there is a cliffhanger, not something I tend to do seeing as I don't like cliffhangers very much myself, but I don't want the chapter to be too long so that is where the chapter will end for today. Have a nice day and I will hopefully see you tomorrow!
