A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the late post again today, but I completely forgot I was supposed to be posting this chapter today, so I didn't pre-write anything and I had to try and not only find the motivation, but also the time and creativity to write this chapter. Again, I am sorry if this chapter isn't as good as others but, I hope you guys like it. Now, onto the chapter!
Frankenstein's POV
After I woke up I looked around and saw I was lying in masters bed and I blush, the room smells like him. Wait! Why am I having such thoughts about my master? I shouldn't be thinking these thoughts as a servant. I then remember what happened and I get up and out of the bed, still fully dressed and walk into the kitchen to see only master there, standing in front of his window. I walk over to the kitchen and made him some tea before walking over and giving it to him before bowing with my hand over my heart.
Master accepted my tea and sat down with the plate of biscuits I also brought over for him as he continued to look out the window and I did as well, seeing that it was sunny and there was no rain in sight. I got worried, did anyone end up finding y/n last night or did no one leave after what happened?
"Calm down Frankenstein" Master said to me, wanting me to take a breath, I complied and took some deep breaths to calm myself down before I began asking him questions.
"Did anyone find y/n yesterday?" I asked urgently.
"No, nobody left after you slept" He answered calmly.
"So she slept outside in the rain all night?!" I asked, getting a bit more aggravated.
"Sadly, yes" Master replied in a sad tone, and that sent me over the edge, 'SHE SLEPT OUTSIDE ALL NIGHT!?' I thought as I began to walk towards the door, ready to go find her and bring her home.
"Frankenstein, everyone is out at the moment looking, wait for a response before leaving" Master said and I unhappily complied. We were sitting on the couches in the lounge waiting for any news about y/n when Seira, Regis, and Rael returned home.
"Did you find anything??"I asked desperately but Seira merely shook her head slowly with a sorrowful expression, and that made my mode even worse. A little while after the three had returned, M-21 and Takeo showed up, although they were empty handed as well. Someone ended up making lunch and we all ate before we went back to the lounge to continue planning what our next steps should be. As we were half way through the meeting the door slammed open and we all looked at who it was only to see that it was Karius followed by a calm Rajak.
We were all waiting patiently but I didn't get my hopes up, considering it would be destroyed soon after.
"There is an attack going on" Karius informed us urgently, I told Tao to pull up some cameras that were in the area and we saw that it was a Union Elder. Tao and Takeo then told us about him and his special guards called 'Cerberus' which were standing next to him. We were watching him until he jumped down off of the building and it looked like it grabbed something, he then jumped back to the top of the building and we were able to get a closer look at what he was holding, but what he was holding made my heart drop.
In his clenched fist was a weak y/n who was holding Lightspear as if to try and protect herself. After seeing that everyone got up and made for the door, including master, we were all going to save her.
No One's POV
Everyone was running at their top speed to be able to get to the building that had y/n dangling off of the edge, but even with their full speed, they were still a good few minutes away. Everyone was panicking, even Raizel and Frankenstein were, they only showed it less, but the group still saw it and it did not help in calming their nerves.
They all ran in silence for a while until they were met face to face with the destruction of the 12th elder. Immediately, everyone's face fell even more than they already had. They continued through the wreckage with a solemn look on their face as they eventually made it to the building to see a small body hanging off the building with a hand around their throat and they all immediately knew that it was their y/n who was hanging by her neck.
They all wanted to run up and fight the elder, but Raizel and Frankenstein stopped them and Frankenstein recommended that they try to stay hidden as at the moment they have the element of surprise, although the fight would be completely one sided, they didn't want y/n to somehow get caught up and even more injured. Everyone went to a corner of a nearby building and decided on what they were going to do there, so that they were out of sight of the elder and his guards.
While discussing, Tao and Takeo decided to tell everyone who was the most powerful out of the guards and their appearances. Whilst everyone was listening intently to the order of strength there was suddenly a loud yell and screams came from the top of the building where the elder and guards were supposed to be.
"12th Elder, please help me!" They heard a quiet scream from the top of the building. Everyone looked around the corner of their building only to see that nobody was making any attempt to help their fellow comrade who was screaming out for help, they all stood by their elder. Tao and Takeo had a sad look on their faces as they realised that the guy screaming with no help is exactly how it used to be in DA-5. It didn't matter what was happening, nobody would help even if you asked for it, DA-5 only used each other, except for Tao and Takeo who stayed a bit closer to each other.
Frankenstein's POV
Eventually, I got tired of waiting and I decided that I would attack before any more harm came to y/n, and so I did. Everyone else decided to follow me and with that we were all running to the building before we all jumped up and landed on the back of the building, behind the Union people who, surprisingly, didn't sense us. I looked and saw one of the blonde men mentioned was missing, maybe that was the guy who screamed? Who knows, but honestly, right now I couldn't care less.
This time Rael decided to take the lead and he brought his Kertia clan soul weapon out and ran straight for the elder, but he could get close as the other guards surrounded the elder. The barricade didn't last long though as with all of us coming at him, nothing could stop us. A spiky red-haired lady began swiping at us with a scythe and claimed it to be a 'grim reaper' or something, but nobody was really paying attention and Seira got rid of her pretty quick. In the end the elder turned around to face the commotion only to see his guards basically on the ground and myself and master walking towards him.
I tried to be polite with him, I really was! I even gave him one of my smiles but he frowned and clamped his hand shut even tighter around y/n's neck, causing her to whimper more and go limp, causing everyone's alert levels to go even higher as we thought about the damage that could be done or that was already done. Immediately, I ran towards him and hit him with Darkspear that I had brought out, and once Darkspear hit the elder, it sent him flying off of the roof of the building, but there was only one problem... He was still holding y/n and he dragged her off the edge.
As the 12th elder began falling he let her go and just as I was about to run down the building and grab her, master had already beaten me to it. I began going down the side of the building and everyone followed me as I went over to master to see if he and y/n were alright. Master had no injuries that he didn't have previously but y/n had a really dark bruise in the shape of a hand that went all the way around her neck, and that made not only me frown, but everyone else as we realised that we didn't get here fast enough to save her.
We all began running and jumping back home at a nice pace thinking about how KSA would go about fixing the city. As I was jumping I felt something move slightly and I looked down to see y/n who was not fully asleep but had her eyes shut.
"You can relax now y/n, we're here, you are safe now" I said quietly as her body fully relaxed and she fell asleep in my arms as a smile crept over my face.

That is the chapter for today, and I am really sorry I posted it this late, I forgot about it until lunch today, I just had to find the time and creativity to write this chapter, but I hope you guys liked it anyway! Just letting anyone who actually reads these know that I will try and get the next two chapters out when I can, but I will be busy over the school holidays in Christchurch at a brickshow so I might not post on time, but I will get the out when I can.
