Chapter 32

A/N: Hey guys! I am struggling a little bit at the moment considering the fact that I can't write action or fight scenes, at least not very well. I am soo sorry that I didn't post, I forgot to! As you guys probably know, this is my first book so I don't know what I am doing, I am just writing what I would like to read, so please leave a comment giving me your opinion on my story and how it is going so far. That's it, now lets get onto the chapter!  Guys I need your help, do you guys want a Raizel & Frankenstein ship? Or possibly a poly relationship with y/n, Raizel, and Frankenstein?

Y/n's POV

When I woke up the rain had stopped and I would be able to continue walking so that's what I did. I kept walking in hopes that I would be able to get as far away from people as possible. I didn't know what the others could do, but I knew that Rael had some weird knives, and probably so did Rajak as well. I also knew that Raizel and Frankenstein weren't normal, but I still liked them anyway. After I had a nice, long, and hard thought about it I decided to walk more and try to find something that I can eat, hopefully not out of a garbage bin.

I walked past a few more buildings until I heard bangs and screaming. I started walking towards the area when everybody began running away and leaving the place. Me being the smart person I am, I decided to walk towards the danger, because I have nothing left to lose, right? As I get closer I see a few people wearing white robes standing on top of a building watching the chaos going on down below and sometimes using some weird power to create more destruction and chaos.

I got scared so I tried to turn back around and run away with everyone else until I heard an urgent scream coming from close by. I look around only to find the source of the scream to be coming from a little boy and little girl. The girl is screaming because she wants her cat who appears to be under a piece of debris while the boy is holding her back, trying to keep her safe. I sigh before I ultimately run over to try and get the cat when the little boy loses his grip on the girl who goes running to the cat while the piece of debris falls, aiming for her head. I look past the girl and see a man with white-ish grey hair who is running as if he was about to push the girl out of the way, but he would get hurt!

I run and manage to push the girl and the cat out of the way and into the man's arms as he catches them and looks at me, his face contorted into a face of worry and guilt as he sees me crushed under a piece of building debris. He walks towards me carefully and slowly, still holding the little girl and cat in his arms, why would he try to help a person like me? He should try and help the innocent girl and boy get away to safety.

"Why would yo-" He began but I cut him off.

"You need to run! Get the children away to safety!" I yelled at him, wanting him to run away with the children.

"I'll come back!" He yelled as he ran away and I merely smiled as I watched his retreating figure. I laid there for what could be minutes or hours until I heard the sound of fast approaching footsteps. I looked over to see the man running back to try and help me, but why did he return? I told him to run away!

"Why are you back?! I told you to leave and run away!" I almost screamed at him as I was still in a lot of pain from being crushed.

"I told you I would come back for you, I won't leave you here alone!" He said and I smiled at his stubbornness. He lifted the debris off of me and I was really surprised by his strength. No normal human should be able to lift that I don't think. I looked at him and tried to move but pain enveloped my body and I couldn't move a single muscle. He looked more concerned than he did before and I smiled before thinking that Lightspear might be able to help me, but I don't want the nice man to think of me as somebody bad, I have to send him away somehow.

"Hey, do you see that kid over there stuck under the rubble?!" I asked him with fake urgency.

"What?! Is there a child stuck over there?!" He asked with real urgency and I simply nodded to him to say yes. He gave me a look almost as if he was asking me whether he should stay and look after me or go look for the child I said about.

"Go save that child before it's too late," I told him with a small, tired smile. He looked at me as if I had grown two heads before he reluctantly left my side to go look for an imaginary child who doesn't exist. I was about to try and summon Lightspear like it told me to do in serious situations where it was life or death and nothing else when I looked around and saw the people standing on top of the buildings looking at the man I sent away. I realised that I had to do something so I called upon Lightspear for some help and a bright light appeared, blinding me.

"Answer my call, Lightspear!" I yelled as loud as I could and I was soon surrounded in a blinding bright light as my wounds started healing much faster and I was standing there holding my big blood red Lightspear. Thinking about it, I had never seen Lightspear this colour, maybe it is a side-effect of summoning it? I was just thinking about what to do next when I was grabbed by a weird looking dude in an army outfit. He was talking to some people who looked almost like they were trying to protect him, kind of like special guards.

I was shocked that I was frozen, I couldn't move and I ended up dropping lightspear which ended up falling but it flew before it hit the ground and it went straight towards the direction of a blonde dude who was not expecting it. I stayed frozen as the army looking dude looked at where the weapon ended up and slowly turned back around to face me, still dangling, stiff in his clenched hand. He ignored the call from the blonde guy, I guess the people below him really are guards.

"12th elder, please help me!" The blonde man pleaded, I guess the army dude was called 12th elder. The '12th elder' in question made no move to try and help the man who was getting consumed by the blood red spear. The blonde man was trying to pull it off, or cut it, but nothing was working and he ended up getting fully consumed before the spear returned to me, making me feel a little bit more powerful and confident knowing that I have the spear to back me up if I need it.

I tried to move or wiggle around in the 12 elders' hands, trying to get him to release me but to no avail. The only result was him gripping me tighter, hurting my frail body as he clasped even tighter again and I instantly stopped moving. I began crying because I was stuck and in pain so I basically gave up and let my body fall limp, hoping that it might reduce the pain, even if not by much.

I looked back at everyone and saw a big dude who had lots of muscles, a white haired man who is kinda skinny, a blonde guy with glasses, the blonde guy who had been laying on the ground but disappeared, a red head who is shorter than the others, and a black haired girl who has a scythe. Then, standing in the middle of all of them, was the army guy who was still holding my neck and I couldn't breathe, I was struggling, trying to be able to get some air into my lungs but it only made him squeeze tighter.

Black dots started invading my vision as I couldn't get any oxygen into my lungs and I got scared so I became invisible, but it didn't help much as they only looked happy and confused at my ability. As my vision got even darker I started hearing voices and I thought I was hallucinating because the voices sounded really similar to the people living in the house. I smiled, happy it would be the last thing I heard before I probably died.

I heard more people shouting and the hand holding my neck got yanked back as if he got attacked and the hold on my neck let go as I began to fall. I didn't know what was going on because I had my eyes shut, I could only listen and imagine what was happening around me. I was too tired to open my eyes so I just waited until I hit the ground which I assumed would be soon considering I had been falling for quite a while.

I relaxed and was just about to let the darkness take over me when I was caught in a pair of strong arms as they wrapped around me and carried me away from my almost certain death. I felt someone hand me over before I smelled something nice and relaxing so I smiled before falling asleep.

"You can relax now y/n, we're here, you are safe now" They said in a calming tone and that was the last thing I heard before I completely fell asleep. 

That is the chapter for this week, I hope you guys liked it! I only have two more weeks of school before I get a couple of weeks off for the school holidays before I start term 3. I have this week and next, but once it is over I have a couple of weeks free of school work that I hopefully might be able to write and post a couple more chapters.
