A/N: Hey guys! Sorry I didn't post at the normal time but I did give you a warning that there was a low chance that I would actually get around to posting it at the right time, but I still did post today! That counts for something, right? Anyways! I have put a alarm for tomorrow so it should be out around the right time tomorrow, there is hope. drink some water and lets get onto the chapter!
No One's POV
It was really late at night and y/n just couldn't sleep so she decided to get up and listen for anyone awake and moving around but she couldn't hear anyone so she decided to get out of her room. She had never really looked around the room, all she had seen of the house was the lab, the hallway with a few doors on it, and her room so she had no idea of how big the house was. She quietly opened the door, making sure not to wake up anybody or scare anyone. She got out to the living and dining room and suddenly saw a shadow looking out the giant window. It spooked her a little so she started trying to sneak back to her room when she heard a voice call out to her.
"Would you like to come out?" Asked the nice voice, but it sounded familiar to the girl.
"Raizel?" She asked in whisper, not knowing if anybody else was awake and she just couldn't sense them.
"Yes?" He responds to her, wondering why she said his name. She snuck across the floor as she made it to beside Raizel, looking where he was looking, seeing the beautiful view from the window, she had never seen anything like it, but in saying that, she hadn't seen much of anything and was still scared to be around more than a couple people, 5 people being around her freaked her out because of what had happened in the past, but she hated being alone even more so she would always try to stay with one of the people she knew, which was hard because they were always busy.
"It's beautiful Raizel" She whispered in awe of the view from the window.
"It is... So what are you doing out here?" Raizel asked, curious because he was pretty sure people needed a full night's sleep, modified or not, but here y/n was, still wide awake and dressed.
"I couldn't sleep. '' She murmured, cheeks bright red because he knew she should be sleeping and that he figured out her sleep schedule is really bad. Raizel didn't know what to do, so he asked her if she wanted a hug, remembering she likes hugs.
"Yes, please." She whispers, wanting a hug and some warmth because she was really cold. Raizel nodded his head and opened his arms, thinking about what Frankenstein had told him and how to hug. She jumped into his arms, surprising him and herself as neither of them expected her to do that, her body just moved on its own. Raizel took one step back to make sure that she didn't manage to topple them, although it was unlikely that she would be able to, he just wanted to make sure. She was a tiny bit more tired in his arms but not much, and nowhere near enough to be able to go to sleep even if she was really comfortable, which she was, she almost wanted to stay awake and not go to sleep so she could spend as much time as possible in the hug but her eyelids were a little bit heavy, nothing she couldn't keep under control though, so she could stay awake.
Raizel stood there in silence just holding the girl close to him in a hug, smiling because of the warmth of the hug when he noticed that she suddenly yawned, he thought it was adorable and a miniscule blush spread across his cheeks as he thought about how cute it was when he realised that it is what people do when they are tired, and Raizel was relieved to know that she would fall asleep soon and that she would get enough sleep.
"Sleep" Raizel told y/n, wanting the girl to get enough sleep, which she would not if she had anything to say about it, all she wanted to do was stay in this warm hug and never let go.
"Hmph" she huffed and shook her head, showing that she was not going to sleep and was not planning on it, and this made Raizel a little bit sad that she was not taking proper care of her health and not getting enough sleep so he knew what he should do, even if he wanted to stay cuddling her, he knew that she needed sleep.
"Sleep" Raizel said, this time in an almost stern voice as he commanded the girl to sleep and his eyes flashed a bright blood red for a second and a really small part of his power came out. The girl he was hugging tight in his arms collapsed and he caught her, holding her protectively and picking her up bridal style, bringing her to the bedroom before 'magically' changing her clothes and tucking her into bed.
Y/n's POV
"Sleep" Raizel said calmly to me, but I shook my head. I wasn't overly tired because I don't normally get much sleep and I was really comfortable in his warm arms so I huffed and shook my head, showing I won't give in. I swear for a split second on his face, an almost frown came over his face and his face washed with what looked like sadness, why was he sad? But the next minute his face flashed of regret, and that confused me, why would he be feeling regret?
"Sleep" Raizel commanded and my body almost instantly went limp as I got overcome with exhaustion. I felt a pair of thin but really strong arms wrap around me right before I passed out and welcomed the darkness, not like I had much of a choice, my body and mind gave out on me. I thought for a second, 'Was this Raizel? Why would he do this to me?' I almost felt betrayed that he did this to me but I ended up falling fast asleep anyway.
Raizel's POV
I saw y/n looked tired and I could see tiny eye bags under her eyes, they weren't good, I didn't like seeing them on Frankenstein when he would exhaust himself doing his experiments and I would have to use my powers to forcefully put him to sleep, which he would not like and argue against. I decided that I should ask her to go to sleep first, maybe she didn't want to fall asleep on me? I asked her to go to sleep but she just shook her head at me, saying that she was not planning to go to sleep and she was not going to so I did the only other thing I could think of.
"Sleep" I ordered, I didn't like ordering people, but I do it when I have to. She almost immediately went to sleep and before she did she took a glance at my eyes and all I could see was confusion, and mostly betrayal. I don't want her to feel betrayed, why would she feel betrayed? It made me so sad that she thought that about me, I picked her up and brought her to her room, I was about to put her to bed but she was still in day clothes so I changed her clothes with my powers and carefully put her into the bed, tucking her in and glancing back at her before heading back out to continue looking out of the window.
