Abused Experimented Reader x Noblesse

chapter 36

A/N: Hey guys! I had a fun time writing my new chapters so I might post an extra chapter earlier, but we'll see how it goes.  I am having a decent time in school but I have been a little bit bored so I wrote a bit more than usual. I hope you guys enjoy the story, now lets get onto the chapter!

Raizel's POV

It was a couple weeks after the whole event happened, and I was feeling pretty weak, but it doesn't matter as long as I was able to end the people who hurt y/n and threatened humanity. Frankenstein is still really concerned about my condition but I have been trying to calm him down by telling him to ignore it, but soon that won't work and he will go against my orders. And if he does I don't think I will be able to stop him, no matter what he is doing.

Today was a Saturday and everybody was relaxing and doing whatever they wanted to, but they are still keeping in mind the fact that the children will be coming over in a couple minutes. Frankenstein is reluctant to have the children over, not only because of the mess they will inevitably end up making, but also because of my condition at the moment.

After just a couple minutes passed the doorbell rang and Tao let them in just before Shinwoo decided it would be a good idea to try and jump the fence again, I still don't know why he does it. They all thanked Tao and came over to sit by me as they brought some games and more snacks and we all ended up playing a few games, but just like Frankenstein, they were also concerned about me even after I tried to convince them that I was fine.

"Are you sure you're alright Rai, you look kinda pale" Suyi commented.

"Yeah, Suyi is right, you do look pretty tired," Ikhan agreed.

"I am fine" is all I said on the matter before they gave up and chose to continue playing their games that they brought along. They ended up leaving earlier than normal, but they only said that they were tired and needed to go home but I knew it was because they were concerned about me. Once the children left I got up and walked to my room, telling Frankenstein to leave me alone for some quiet so I can think and he agreed, leaving me alone to my thoughts.

'I won't be able to be around and protect them all for too much longer, I can feel that I don't have very much time left.' I thought to myself, I am not surprised because of the amount of power I used and because I already had a very shortened life-span, I am just sad that I won't be able to stay with y/n for very long and I won't be able to protect her.

I laid down and chose to get some sleep before I get up and have dinner, although I don't need sleep I feel like it might help me feel a little bit better. Just before I completely fell asleep I heard my door open and shut again before someone walked closer to the bed and hopped on. I felt a pair of warm and soft arms wrap around me and I smiled before pulling the person closer and letting the darkness take over me completely.

Y/n's POV

I had just come down to the kitchen to see what we were going to have for dinner because Frankenstein told me that he was about to start some dinner. When I got down there he told me that we were having Ramen again, which was no surprise considering the fact that it was Rai's favourite dinner, but I like it too so no complaints here. Frankenstein asked me to go and check in on Rai while he was cooking dinner and I said yes so I walked off to his room to see how he was doing.

When I got to his room I slowly opened the door and peeked in to see Rai lying in his bed, he looked pretty tired and like he was about to fall asleep so I quietly walked in and shut the door behind me before I walked over to his bed and laid down, wrapping my arms around him as I begin to fall asleep. Just as I was basically fully asleep I felt arms wrap back around me as they pulled me in closer and I smiled as Rai cuddled me as we slept peacefully.

Frankenstein's POV

I asked y/n to go and check on master to see how he was doing because he looked really bad and he asked to be left alone in his room, which worried me to no end. I had finished cooking dinner as I plated it all and walked up to my masters room to see if y/n was there and how he was doing, so I knocked on the door but I didn't get a response so I let myself in and smiled at the sight in front of me. Y/n and my master were fast asleep in bed cuddling each other so I decided to let them sleep because they looked really tired and they both looked really happy to just be cuddling each other in their sleep.

I walked back out to the kitchen where everyone else was, waiting for me to come back so they could start eating. I grabbed my food and sat down at the table as I began to eat and soon everyone else began to follow my action.

"Where is y/n and Raizel?" Tao asked me.

"They are sleeping at the moment, they're both quite tired." I answered and soon more questions came piling in.

"Is the noblesse alright? He has been looking quite tired and pale recently" Rajak questioned, 'should I answer him honestly?' I asked myself.

"*Sigh* Every time master uses his powers he is using his life-span. Master has already used most of his life-span and he doesn't have long left. I am trying to find a cure for him but nothing is working so I am trying to stop him from using his powers and to allow him to enjoy the rest of his life." I answered honestly and everyone looked at me shocked.

"Is there any way we can help??" Regis asked desperately, wanting to be able to help master in any way he could, but there was no way he could help so I shook my head before adding on a part.

"The only thing that any of you can do is to make master happy and to not let him use his powers under any circumstances." I told them and they all nodded, wanting to help as much as possible.

Everyone soon finished dinner and I got up, leaving the table and everyone else soon followed, doing their own chores as I headed down to my lab to hopefully find a new cure for master to extend his life-span. I worked hard for hours but nothing worked, nothing I found would help master or extend his life-span, the only thing I did get done was a ring which would conceal his aura. I went up to give master the ring I made but when I got to his room he was still fast asleep cuddling with y/n. I sighed and left the ring on the bedside table before I walked out and shut the door behind myself.
