Chapter 40- Catching Up

August 31st, 2014:

Today we had Inkigayo in the morning and the Lotte Duty-Free Family concert in the evening. I was excited for the concert not only because we would get to interact with fans and other artists, but because EXO was performing which meant I would see Jongin.

"Excited to see your boyfriend?" Taehyung winks at me.

We were in the van heading to the concert. I was in a van with the rest of the maknae line. Sejin was driving us with Yoona in the passenger seat.

"Of course, she is, it's been like a whole 5 days since they haven't seen each other," Jimin chuckles.

"Haha, very funny," I say sarcastically, "but I am excited to see him. After everything that happened, I want to be able to be with him physically, know that we are truly still with each other".

"Urgh, that's so sweet. How can you find a boyfriend and I'm still a single pringle?" Yoona sighs from the front seat.

"I thought you were married?" Taehyung says confused.

"What made you think that? I don't wear a ring or anything," Yoona replies, almost insulted.

"I don't know... it's just, like, your smart, and pretty... and older..." Taehyung mutters.

"So, you think I'm old! I will let you know I'm only 27 years old, okay," Yoona turns around to shout at Taehyung who was smiling at her reaction, which just made her laugh, "god, the things I put up with".

"Sorry noona," Taehyung chuckles. Yoona just sighs and rolls her eyes, as Jimin, Taehyung, and I chuckle. Jungkook on the other hand had been silent the whole way and was just slumped in his seat looking out the window.

"We're here," Sejin says, parking the car.

We all pile out and meet with the other 4 members. We are then guided to our trailer. The staff had made a little room with dividers for me to change in as had become more common instead of me having my own changing room.

I go to change into my leather pants, sheer long sleeve top with a gold tight-fitting crop top, and black ever so slightly heeled knee-high boots. Afterward, the styling team styles my hair and puts on my heavy black makeup.

Our performance was only at 7, but we had rehearsal at 4:30 and it was more efficient for us to be all ready to go before rehearsals. Any issues with our outfits could be resolved after, as well.

We get to the stairs to go up to the stage and wait for VIXX to finish their rehearsal. As soon as they were done, we went up, Seokjin taking more time as he knew some of the members. We ran through the songs we were going to perform: No More Dream, Danger, and Boy In Luv. We ran through all of them smoothly and finished our rehearsal in 25 minutes.

I walk down the stairs and see EXO waiting to do their rehearsal next. I immediately see Jongin at the back. He was beaming at me and sending me thumbs up. I practically throw myself down the stairs and jog up to him. As soon as I reach him, he engulfs me in a big hug.
