Lorenzo

"What the fuck do you mean he got out?!" I yell at my men that were meant to be guarding his cell.

"I- I was on duty and was patrolling the perimeter when we got a signal that someone had entered by the time I signalled the rest of us and got here, he was gone" one of the men explains.

"HOW FUCKING HARD IS IT TO DO ONE JOB THAT YOUR ASSIGNED TO?" I yell at all my men that are stood in front of me right now.

"Boss they knocked us out though so we couldn't guar-" I cut him off by aiming a bullet between his eyes.

I can hear a few gasps coming from my men and I turn up to look at them with a look saying try me. "Anybody have an early death wish?" I ask sarcastically.

A hand on my shoulder causes me to turn around and I see its Sebastian. "Lorenzo, I know you are really mad about him getting out but killing your own men just makes him even more stronger" he tells me.

I know he's correct right now but what annoys me even more is that there is no way that Giovanni and his men couldn't have gotten in without help from the inside.

Guess I'm going to have to be really careful now as I don't really have the time to check who the traitor is and nobody could've known that he was here locked up because I only told Sebastian and Oliver.

"None of you are to stop until you have found him. Understood?" I tell them all before storming out of the room with Sebastian following pursuit.

"There's a traitor" I simply state. Sebastian looks up at me with a not so shocked look either and just nods his head.

"Where's Oliver?" I ask him looking around for Oliver.  He simply just shrugs his shoulders and also turns his head looking for him.

Could Oliver be the traitor? I mean I did only tell Sebastian and Oliver that Giovanni's body should be brought here but then again he was one of my closest friends and I really trusted him, so I don't want to be a rude friend by blaming him.

But I mean what can I say. It's pretty much everyone for themselves and sometimes even the closest of people can turn out to be the biggest deceivers.

I snapped out of my thoughts when a ringing sound of a call echoed through the hallway we were standing in.

We all looked up at each other waiting for the ringing to stop when I realised it was my phone. I fished my phone out of my pocket and saw it was Mario.

"Yes." I state into the phone waiting for him to respond back.

"Um- Boss I promise you I was literally standing outside of Sophia's room but now she's not in there" he says nervously into the phone.

"FOR FUCKS SAKE CAN NO ONE DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY?!" I yell punching my fist into the wall leaving a dent behind and ending the call.

I storm out of the warehouse and get into my car quickly, speeding the way home. My knuckles were turning white from the grip I had on the steering wheel.

Gosh I swear to god if anything happens to her I won't be able to forgive myself. It was my duty to protect her and I assigned Mario to guard her room because I knew he was the best but how was he managing to fail me as well?

I swerve into the driveway and sprint out of the car slamming the door.

My mind runs to the possibilities of where she could be right now and none of them help reassure me.

Fuck! Why am I suddenly like this?

Since when did I care what happened to anyone besides my mother?

I should've never left her alone after what happened to her tonight and I should've never let that stupid bastard Giovanni breath a moment longer when he was at my feet.
