:) In this, Lizzie is an enigma, and Joel is a blaze born. I know that they weren't these at the same time, it's just my favorite for them.

Lizzie POV

I ran towards the forest. I needed supplies from an exotic tree for my build of confusion. Why does it have to be so far away?

I started thinking about the tower I was planning. Maybe a darker stone to contrast the white wood, and some yellow concrete. The concrete is good, and I have a lot of it. That'll work.

A chill ran through me. When did it get so cold? Wait, it must be nighttime. My heart skipped a beat. It's really cold, I don't know how much colder it's going to get. I should probably head back.

I jumped as a prick of cold landed on my shoulder. It's snowing! This isn't good. . .

I started running as fast as I can towards spawn. I'm not sure if I'll make it at this rate. . .

The snowfall gets heavier. It's so cold.

My legs hurt. My body was getting numb. I collapsed on the frigid floor. I. . . Have. . . To . . . Get. . . Up!

I tried to push myself back to my feet, but I fell back down. It's no use. . . This isn't how I wanted to go. . .

Joel POV

Unlike the rain, snow doesn't bother me. My body heat is permanently burning, and the snow just doesn't work like the water does. If I lay down in it, that's a different matter, since the snow melts, but just walking around, I'm fine.

While taking a nice stroll, I spot a pink shape partially covered in the white powder. What is that?

I take a few steps towards it. My heart skips a beat. That's Lizzie.

I run to her. Oh no, she's freezing. I pull her in to a hug to try and warm her up. I have to get her out of this storm.

I pick Lizzie up. Holding her close to give her as much body heat as possible, I set off as fast as I can towards spawn. Please make it, it's just a little longer!

I dash into my shop with relief. I set Lizzie down on the floor and grab one of the fire pits, and set it next to her. I then pull her back into the hug.

"It's gonna be ok. Your gonna be ok. Please wake up. I love you Lizzie, I need you to wake up. Come on. You got this." I tried to encourage her. I think I was mostly reassuring myself.

Tears of lava stream down my cheeks. I quickly wipe them away as not to burn her.

I felt a pang of pure agony as I realized she wasn't breathing. I immediately check her heartbeat. Nothing. You can't be dead. Your not dead. Your gonna wake up.

The tears flowed freely down my face as I made no attempt to stop them.

"Your gonna wake up. Your not dead. Your ok. Your ok."

     I shook her unresponsive body.

     "Lizzie!"

     She didn't move.
