Chapter 3

One day passed since Shizu started to her journey. And she hadn't done anything particularly. And meanwhile Rimuru was making plans with Ciel to decide how to interrupt with Shizue.

Maybe i should've though about this before coming here.

[Do you want me do stop the time so you can peacefull decide what to do?]

No, that's overkill. And if we do that Guy and Velzard would notice us. That's a danger. But i have already decided the perfect scenario.

When i was going to tell Ciel my perfect scenario Shizue got attacked by a group of monsters. It seems weakest of them C and strongest A. They were nine in total. So it shouldn't be problem for her to deal with them, or so i though but after a couple minute after battle has begun i realized something.

Hey Ciel, she is not going to lose right?

[From the look of it she is going to win with a hairbreadth.]

Oi oi- I know she is in the end of her life but still i though she still would be able to dealt with these monsters. And if she slows down at this point it will inflict my perfect scenario. Let's help a little.

So by using Void God Azoath i destroyed a couple of monsters internal organs. And dealing with Monster became very easy for her. And while watching this i realized a couple of another things too.

Shizu-san is a champion, so one would think she would really is strong and she actually is but considering her secret potensial even her prime-self is nothing. The reason she was able to became a Champion was because of her talent and hard work. But actually she was never able to show her potential. I think if it's Shizu-san she could easly awakend as a Sage or maybe even as a Saint too. So why she couldn't do that?

[Let me expain.]

After that Ciel started speak a very long story. And if i were summarize up it would go like this:

The reason that she couldn't do that, was because of her hard life. The moment she came to this world. Her fight against Ifrit has started. She fought against Ifrıt every moment of her life. Her uniqe skill and mask made it easy for her. But still having a raging spirit in yourself for 60 years is not something that everyone can deal.

I don't know what kinda emotions she was feeling while fighting against Ifrit. But i can guess and it's probably was fear and despair.

She hadn't had anybody she could rely on when she was in Leon's castle. And her body was mostly being controlled by Ifrıt, so she wasn't even able to feel emotions. That's why she wasn't able to evolve. And when Hinata, in Chloe's body, came to pick her up. She finally had someone she could trust. But Hinata was too strong, so even if she didn't do anything it wouldn't matter. Hinata wouldn't get hurt or lose a battle. I am sure that gave her a peace of mind but not wanting to get stronger is a no go stuation for evolving. Even if you meet all condiations. If you don't want to get stronger, then you can't evolve.
