***as lunch started***
Kevin nibbled on his corn dog as he sat alone at a table waiting for Hunter. He started staring at Emily, who at this time was still a complete stranger to him. A girl, (Y/N), sat down on front her, making him sigh as he could only see the left side of her. The boy heard them talk about something but didn't quite hear about what, because the cafeteria was so loud.
Just as he looked over to them again Hunter walked to him saying "Hey, man."
"Did you ask your mom about the double-bass-kit? What'd she say?" Hunter asked as he bit into his corn dog.
"She said she doesn't have a thousand dollars", Kevin sighed and put down the water bottle he had just drunk from.
"Okay, well, what about a double bass pedal? Won't get the resonance, but we'll have that attack."
"Yeah, she says she doesn't have $150 either", Kevin interrupted. Hunter looked at his corn dog disappointed while Kevin took the chance to look at Emily again. Hunter noticed and looked behind him at what he was staring at.
"She's in my speech class." he started as he turned back around, "I think she's English. Scottish. I don't know." He looked at Kevin's food, zoned out while talking. "I heard she went apeshit on the band teacher."
"Yeah."
"That's one messed up chick", Hunter said unzipping his jacket, revealing and bloody arm with "SLAYER" carved in it. Kevin ignored Hunter and his comment and continued staring. Hunter turned back around to see Emily look a bit disappointed as she talked to some girl he didn't recognize from behind.

"Hey, (Y/N)", Clay said out of breath because he ran over to (Y/N) from the other end of the room at the end of lunch.
"I'm throwing a party and wanted to tell you that you can come if you want to. If need a number to text you the address though."
(Y/N) raised a brow. "I'm not trying to- I have a girlfriend", Clay explained quickly as he realized what (Y/N) was thinking. He handed her his phone and watched her type her number in. She handed it back and immediately walked away. He looked at the name she used to save her number. (N/N)
Clay sighed as he watched her walk away. He immediately texted her the address so he wouldn't forget and walked to his next class

(Y/N) packed her things after maths ended to walk to her last class for the day, speech. She wasn't looking forward to it only to Emily. Emily had told her that she was in speech too while they were talking in lunch. She sighed as she walked in the classroom and sat down somewhere at the back. About in the middle of the row.
She watched everyone who walked in and sat down, still talking to their friends. She sat in silence as she saw Emily walk in as well. Emily waved at her with a smile and sat down in her seat which was in the middle row making (Y/N) sigh a bit. A few more people entered the room before class started.
(Y/N) looked around the classroom and who was sitting where. Hunter was sitting to her left and a girl in a sweater to her right. The girl looked odd. So... nerd like. Her sweater looked quite thick as well. She shook her head and looked to the teacher who was already teaching.
'Boring.'
