During lunch, as (Y/N) sat with Kain and his friends, she felt someone staring at her the whole time. Kain had introduced her to three of his friends.

James, the guy who she had Biology with, Tate, a guy who had rather fluffy dirty blonde hair and Valentina, a brunette girl with curly hair which were in a low bun.

Valentina was very nice to (Y/N) and kept talking to her while Tate, James and Kain were talking about random things.

"So, you're friends with Hunter, huh?", she grinned.

"Yeah, how'd you know?", (Y/N) asked her confused. They've never met before so it was rather questionable that she knew that.

"He's been staring at you since you came to our table."

(Y/N) raised a brow and turned around, searching for their table to be greeted by his gaze. Seeing that they had eye contact, Hunter shook his head and looked at Kevin.

"Damn", Valentina sighed.

(Y/N) stayed silent as she turned back around and looked at Tate for a second. He was wearing a simple black hoodie with a white shirt underneath, which was showing a little. He was wearing silver earrings and a cross necklace, that looked exactly like the one (Y/N) was wearing.

Then her eyes flickered towards James. (Y/N) already knew what he looked like from Biology but she couldn't see how pretty he actually was. He had greenish eyes and freckles that you could only see if you were sitting directly across from him. They were very subtle but still adorable. He was wearing a black shirt with band names written on it in white. (Y/N) saw a lot of bands she liked as well, so she knew the two of them would get along just fine.

And lastly, (Y/N) looked at Valentina. Her hair was tied to the back of her head messily, with a few strands out of place. With not much makeup, Valentina still looked very pretty. She had brown eyes and two toned lips, which (Y/N) had always found adorable. Her cherry earrings made a noise every single time she quickly moved her head and she was wearing a dark red, skin tight crop top.

They were all so pretty, which made (Y/N) feel out of place. They all looked so... natural. They weren't dressed extreme and Valentina didn't have major make up on, causing (Y/N) to slump in her seat as she picked at her food, because she didn't feel hungry at all.

"Are you not hungry?", Tate asked quietly.

"Not really", (Y/N) sighed and looked at him, while she rested her head on her hand.

"So, you don't want it?"

Shaking her head, (Y/N) watched James as he took something from her tray and continue his conversation with Kain. (Y/N) pushed the tray towards the guys and turned to Valentina, seeing that each of them took something so they wouldn't have to throw the food away.

"Anyways...", Valentina started right before the bell rang, signaling that lunch break was over. She let out a sigh and took all of the trays and quickly put them away.

"What do you have now?", James asked (Y/N) while they all walked out the cafeteria.

"P.E. What about you?"

(Y/N) stopped as they passed her locker to take out clothes to change into for p.e.

"I have chemistry with Tate. Well, see you sometime", James mumbled and walked in another direction with Tate leaving Kain and Valentina with (Y/N).

"Here. It's our numbers", Valentina handed (Y/N) a note with their numbers written on it, now (Y/N) had 7 people to text. 8 with Hunter, because the two of them started telling each other what they did all day.

"Okay... see you", she mumbled and quickly walked to the changing room by the gym while she put the note in one of the pockets of her pants.
