Hunter's pov

I got a text from (Y/N), she was on her way. Waiting, my blanket over my whole body except my leg, I texted her back.

Just come in when you're here

The doors open

I didn't expect her to answer, since she was probably driving here so I went onto tiktok and scrolled for a few minutes before hearing the front door slam shut. My eyes widened, she was here already so I turned off my phone and sat up, looking at the stairs, hoping to see (Y/N).

There she was, holding her bass with a slight grin on her face.

"Dude, I saw some girl and she looked kinda... you know what I mean?", she told me, smiling as she walked towards me and put her bass down next to my tv, which was right next to my bed.

"What'd she look like?"

"Okay well, she had like a layered bob I think and curtain bangs. Uh she had glasses, but like Dave Mustaine kinda glasses and she was wearing a black oversized shirt and black cargo jeans with a Slipknot patch on it."

"Oh, I know her. Her name's Zoe." (Aye that's me🤣)

After I explained (Y/N) how I knew Zoe, because she asked me, I tried changing the subject by asking about her family. Learning that her only close relative was her father, I realized I kept fucking up.

I stayed silent, I didn't know what to say. I felt curious about her mother, but knowing how mine was, I didn't ask.
The two of us simply talked until she asked me if she could play something on my guitar. Of course, I said yes so she plugged it into an amp and started playing stuff, while I was on my phone, telling her random songs for her to play if she knew them.

Though, I got a text from Zoe.

"Zoe said thank you", I told (Y/N) out of nowhere.

"What for?"

Typing something with a cheeky grin, I heard her click send while she handed me my phone back.

"Damn, is she stealing you from me?", i scoffed as I turned off my phone and put it under my pillow.
