"Do you need help?", I asked Hunter, who was pushing a stack of amps inside.

"I'm fine", Hunter sighed making me take out my phone to check the time as i sat on a random bench near him.

"(Y/N)?", he asked, causing me to look up at him while humming.

"When I was talking to your dad, I remembered Clay's party. You said something about Dave but how'd you even know about him?"

"Oh shit uhm... I don't know who told me actually but it just went around my school and my old band mates kept talking shit about your school stopping the battle of the bands."

"Makes sense... I guess. Uh you go in already? I'll be there in a bit", Hunter smiled at me a bit awkwardly.

"You sure?"

He nodded, allowing me to pick up the bag with my black bass in it, because I always used that for gigs and walk inside. Since we were a band, we went through a different door than the other's.

As I was at the door, I saw Ray. He looked a little nervous.

"What's up?", I asked as I slowed down. Ray's look when he turned to me just screamed that he was nervous.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just a little nervous. Clay will want to play with me, right?", he asked anxiously.

"Of course he will! Don't worry, it'll be fine", I reassured him with a smile which made him sigh.

"Trust me. If he won't, I'm gonna talk to him. Now go on", I shooed him through the door and saw Clay look at him. After a few seconds, I walked through the door as well, sighing and put my bass down near the entrance.

"I'm sorry. You guys have been great, and I'd love to play with you again, but uh...", Kevin glanced towards me, as I jumped due to the amp stack Hunter was pushing hit the top of the somewhat door frame.

"I can only be in one band. I brought you your drummer", Kevin finished.

As I looked at Hunter, a bit bored of looking at Clay, I took out my phone and took pictures of him obviously struggling.

"Let me", I chuckled and put my phone away.

As he sighed, I looked at the top amp, which prevented him from going through.

Sighing, I held onto the stack on the other side and looked up at the amp.

"Wait, here", I said as I moved it, and somehow we got it through.

"How did that even work", Hunter scoffed in disbelief.

"Magic", I whispered as I pulled the stack to where my bass was and turned back to Clay, who was now looking at Hunter, who was walking towards him, making me follow with another sigh.

"Hey, brother. I've been meaning to apologize for what happened at my party", Clay said, not even taking his eyes from him. Kinda gay, to be honest /s

"Yeah, and I apologize for the whole... wedding thing. That was-"

"That was weird."
