Chapter 17: NaruHina Moments

Naruto's POV

"Before everything else, alam namin kung paano ka makakabalik sa mundo mo. In fact, we'll send you there right n-"

"Chotto mattebayo Bella no otou-sama (Hold on a sec, Bella's father). Can it be done later? I want to investigate a bit here."

Nagtinginan yung mag-asawa.

"Fine. Wag ka lang magpakita kila Ina and Cherry. They'll find out the moment they see you... But Adam would be worse. He'll freak out the most if he sees you."

"Wakarimasu!" (Understood!) I said in response.

Lumabas ako sa ward ni Bella-chan and followed the me of this world along with the girls.

Pumasok sila sa isang kotse. I assume that's Adam's?

I got myself a taxi and told the driver to follow my counterpart's car.

Tumigil yung kotse in front of this really big gate. Adam dropped Ina off, and Ina waved goodbye to Cherry. She looked awkward when waving goodbye at Adam. It made me remember something.

Since Ina resembles Hinata so much, I unconsciously reminisced our times together...

Flashback

This happened when I hadn't met Bella yet. In the past, I've confessed to Sakura and lost count of how many times I did. Everytime I confessed, my heart broke. I was really frustrated. So I went to a park.

I sat on the swing and thought deeply. What on earth is wrong with me? Why did Sakura reject me everytime I confessed? Sasuke's not even around anymore! And I did promise her that I would do what it takes to bring him back to Konoha--

"Naruto-kun?" a soft spoken voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned to face whoever spoke--

"Hinata? Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Whoa! I didn't even realize she was here! I was so into thinking about things na hindi ko napansin yung presence niya.

"I would ask you the same thing, Naruto-kun. Kyaaa! Gomenasai, Naruto-kun! (Sorry, Naruto!) I didn't mean to be rude," Hinata stated as her face starts to blush.

"Uhh-uhmm. You looked troubled... I just wanted to know if I could help since you've helped me countless times... " Hinata confessed.

"Natulungan na kita countless times? I don't seem to remember anything of that sort... " I don't really know what she's talking about...

"I won't go into the details but please just know I'm very grateful for the help you've given me. And I want to pay you back. Will you allow me to? Kyaaa! Gomenasai Naruto-kun! Di ko sinasadya--"

"It's alright, alam ko na yung karugtong nun. Sorry for being rude?" I start laughing really hard. "It's gonna be a long story, " I continued as I swung the swing I was sitting on. "You willing to listen?"

"Un. " (Un - another way of saying yes)

I start telling her the story. "So to begin with, I... " Kinuwento ko na yung whole story sa kanya. Hinata looks emphatic.

"Don't pity me, Hinata. Okay lang," sabi ko.

"It's not that I pity you, Naruto-kun, I just happen to know how that feels. Na one-sided ang feelings mo sa isang tao. " Hinata's face turned sad. "In fact, ganoon din ako... "

"Whoa! Ikaw, Hinata!? You're really pretty and good at your Ninjutsu. Kung sino man hindi magkakagusto sayo, that guy would be an idiot. Sabihin mo sa kanya yun ah. " What a stupid person for not liking Hinata! She's a great catch!

"Di ko masasabi sa kanya yun eh, Naruto-kun," Hinata earnestly said in a low voice.

"Why not?" I asked. "Kaasar kasi di magkakagusto sayo eh. Maganda ka na, magaling sa Ninjutsu, magaling sa other departments din, especially on being a wife, I think."

"Haha! You've said some things twice. Pero really, thank you Naruto-kun. But you wouldn't want me to tell you you're an idiot, would you? Kyaaa! Gomenas--"

"Dalawang beses ko na minention yung ibang things? Well, I think that just proves how great you are for me to repeatedly say things about you. Pero why would you tell me I'm an idiot? Sabi ko sabihin mo yun sa engot na hindi nagkagusto sayo. "

"Actually, that's the sole reason why I told you you wouldn't really want to hear me telling you you're an idiot," Hinata says as she looks in the ground, shuffling her feet and rubbing her palms together as she is seated on the swing next to the one I'm sitting on.

Nagsalita na ko. "I know I'm an idiot, I've always been. Pero I don't get why you have to say it on my face." I honestly reply to her. I'm an idiot. A big one on that! But why'd she tell me?

"Wait nga lang, "says I. Don't tell me she means that! What on earth am I even thinking? Let's just ask anyway. Pero it's not just possible. It's a very very very biiiiiig imposibility. There's no way. Just no way. Okay, I have to ask. Stop contemplating on things too much, Naruto! Just ask her. But I'm getting nervous. What if my prediction is true? What do I do then? For goodness'sake just ask her the dayum question! I'll seriously ask her now.

"Is there like even a possibility... a possibility......"

"..." she, Hinata, just turns to me without saying a thing.

"a possibility... of you... Uhmm. I don't know how to say this." Why can't I say it? Ughh. I'm getting pissed at myself.

"Go ahead, Naruto-kun," Hinata coolly and patiently told me.

"Is there a possibility of you.. Ughh. I'll just say it straight on.

Do you like Sasuke?!" I, Naruto Uzumaki, just blurted.

My heart skipped a beat when she turned the other way..

Adam's POV (Naruto's Counterpart)

Good thing is, Cherry's with us, and she's the one in the shot gun seat...

If only Ina and I lang ang nandito, it'll be awkward, for me that is.

After all... Something did happen between us.

Okay so Cherry friendzoned me and that hurt. Since wala pa si Bella or should I say Belle-- Naalala ko before naaccident siya is she told me that she'd rather be called 'Belle'. I asked her why. She told me she doesn't wanna be linked to Kristen Stewart. xD

Anyway, since she's not with me at the moment, I accidentally said what I felt for Cherry to Ina. She listened sa lahat ng sinabi ko. She comforted me. Also somehow made me forget my feelings for Cherry. We were alone in a room at school at the time. When I looked at her, I realized she's a girl and I'm a guy. Another look and it made me wanna kiss her. I leaned in towards her face when Cherry entered.

"Guys! You gotta read this!" Cherry entered the room, her eyes glued to her phone. Di niya napansin kaming dalawa ni Ina looking awkward. The cause of my distress is oblivious to her surroundings ◐.̃◐

Ina ran out of the room. I was stuck on my spot. Should I follow her?

"Adam!" Cherry screams. "Anyare dun? " she pointed sa tinakbuhan ni Ina.

What do I do? Should I explain to Cherry or run after Ina?
