My Friend The Asshole

Nine.

"Do you think I'll ever find the perfect guy?" I asked as I laid on Colby's bed crying over my now ex-boyfriend Trevor.

"Of course you will. Just give it time. You're only 19 Nova." he sighed rubbing my arm lazily, "Your perfect guy is probably out there wishing he already had you."

I rolled my eyes at his retort. It was easy for him, he had the perfect girlfriend. I knew Colby was the perfect guy for me, but all I was to him was his friend that lived next door.

"Probably not.." I trailed off.

"Okay, what do you think he's doing right now?" Seth chuckled.

"Thinking about another girl."

RAW was half way over so I was done for the night. As I looked around for either Seth or Paige I noticed the way everyone looked at me. Word spreads around here like wildfire so of course everyone had known I left John for good. Many people confronted me about it. They all told me they would be there if I ever needed anything, but I knew they were just trying to be nice. Hell, I didn't need anyone, I'm the happiest I've been in a long while.

Just as I turned the corner I smack into someone hard falling back and hitting my head on the concrete ground. I winced as I held the back of my head in pain.

"Holy shit Nova, I am so sorry!!" I heard the familiar deep voice of none other than the Viper.

"It's okay, Randal." I laughed as he helped me up with ease.

"Does it hurt?" He asked reaching around to touch the back of my head.

"It doesn't tickle!!" I pulled away as his hand grazed the forming bump.

"Please let me take you to Doc, it'll make me feel less like a douche."

I chuckled as I nodded my head carelessly. Randy walked with me as we twisted down the hallway. Suddenly I got very dizzy and had to grab onto Randy so I wouldn't fall. He looked down at me with concern before i shook it off and began walking again.

"God, your man is going to kill me." He chuckled helping me.

"John and I are getting a divorce, he's not my man."

"Oh, I know. I was talking about Rollins."

I chuckled more to myself think about it, "Him and I are complicated. We don't label each other, we just know how we feel and for right now that's enough."

"Well if he ever turns into the asshole I know he can be just let me know, I've got a RKO with his name on it."

"Colby's a good guy when he wants to be."

We walked into Doc's office and I hopped on the table with the help of Randy. Right now Doc was checking out Daniel Bryan's shoulder so we sat there silently until he had finished.

"Oh god, you're not even in the ring and you come to see me. What happened?" Doc chuckled.

"I ran into the human wall over here and hit my head." I explained pointing to Randy.

"Well I guess I'll check it out." He jokingly rolled his eyes before tilting my head forward.

"What do you mean you have a concussion?" Seth asked as he paced the floor of our hotel room.

"Colby, I'm fine. I just ran into Randy, literally, and hit my head. Doc said I'm fine I just need to rest up for awhile." I laughed at him being overprotective.

"You swear you feel alright?" He asked setting on the edge of the bed.

"I'd feel a whole hell of a lot better of you came over here and laid with me." I smiled holding my arms out like a little kid.

Seth chuckled before he crawled over to me and laid on my chest lazily. I pushed the blonde patch of hair out of his face and trace my fingers over his cheek. Noticing hims eyes began to grow heavy I smiled at how relax he had become just by my touch.

"Nov?" He spoke quietly.

"Colb?"

"I love you.."

Thinking for a minute I shifted to where we laid side by side. I cupped Seth's cheeks in my hand before placing a soft kiss on his lips gently. Momentarily we both just sat there, but Seth pulled back and placed his forehead against mine.

"I understand. We don't have to rush anything. I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer."

I smiled sweetly, "Thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me.."

"You don't have to thank me. You've always known I've been here and you know I always will be."

"When did you become so sweet?"

He smiled and he pulled me closer to him, "When I decided to stop lying to myself."

I cocked an eyebrow not really knowing what he as talking about.

"I always knew I loved you but I tried telling myself I didn't. I believed me. But then I realized I'm the perfect guy for you."

AN; So Nova and Seth aren't together but they're definitely more than friends!

This chapter took forever to write and it still sucked, sigh, the next will be longer and better. I promise!
