Jaxon's POV

I know breaking a news like this to Regina is going to make her scared but I know I don't have any options left, I had to do it for her security, and watching her freak out like this just makes me more and more pissed off at the whole situation.

"Baby calm down ok, I'm handling the situation. I just informed you to be more careful." I say soothingly trying to make her calm down.

She takes in a deep breath and exhales while placing her palm on her chest trying to calm herself down.
"Ok... F-fine, I'll calm down but you've got to tell me how you found out about this... I mean did Karl call you himself to tell you?" She asks with a worried look.

I begin to explain to her how I did some private investigating on Karl after what happened at the club a few nights ago and how I found out that karl was involved in drugs, arms and human trafficking and how he's also involved in the mafia, although I knew karl because his father and mine had done some business deals in the past and we were acquainted because of that but both our families had some issues with the deal and it was later dissolved.

Although my dad never discussed what the deal was and why it ended with me before he died, I knew there was something fishy about Karl Miller's father and as my private investigator dug up more dirt, I found out that Karl Miller's father known as Steven Miller is involved in the same illegal activities which he passed down to his son and also why the deal ended between my dad and him was because he wanted my dad to join in his dirty dealings to which my dad refused and it ended with my family and his being in a feud.

I never particularly took interest in him or his business, not until a few days ago in Regina's club.

The fact that he also had the guts to come to my hotel to threaten me, Regina and our loved ones made my blood boil and mafia or not, I am going to show him that he doesn't get to threaten or touch Jaxon Moore or his people and get away with it.

"So what are we gon do, cus I'm really scared...I've never had to deal with people in the mafia before." Regina asks after I am done telling her everything.

"First of... You need to move in with me, because it's unsafe to live by yourself." I say as I watch her reaction.

I know she she's an independent and fierce woman and I don't want it to seem like I'm forcing her to live with me because I think she can't take care of herself. I just want her to see how dangerous being alone is and how she'll be an easy target if she's alone.

"But you live with Marco... I-i can't possibly move in with you guys...I mean don't get me wrong, I love Marco but I'm used to being free and loose at home and I can't possibly do that with Marco around. You... I can cope with because you're my boyfriend but I'm not sure I can with marco around." She says in a rush with a flushed face and I couldn't help but chuckle at her innocence and shyness.

"Of course I know sweetheart,I have my own apartment at the penthouse building.I'm just staying with Marco because it's more fun and less lonely, I do own the building dear or have you forgotten.." I say as she remembers and mouths an oh and I continue.

"Well you'll be staying with me and me alone... And also a few bodyguards , you'll also have bodyguards around you when you go out...I'll make sure everything is to your convenience dear."

"I don't know babe...that means I'll no longer have the freedom I'm used to...and what if I want to get groceries or visit Rina... Am I supposed to take bodyguards with me?" She asks, a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Don't worry about groceries babe...I'll have them sent to the house weekly and Rina can come visit you anytime and I'm very sure the only place you go to apart from those is here...your club and you know you'll have to take the bodyguards."
