Your POV

It's been a couple of weeks since I've gotten my memories back, thanks to the necklace. If Rumple wouldn't have put it on me like he did, I wouldn't have remembered. Smiling while heading to Rumple's shop before my shift started smiling gently, as it was unlocked, the closed sign still displaying the shop was closed.

Glancing around for a few seconds, seeing no one, turning the knob and quickly walking in. Immediately getting caught into someone's arms and yelping.

"Easy, dearie, it's just me."

Turning to hug and kiss Rumple, slapping his arm for scaring me I smile. "Don't do that!"

"Don't do what? Embrace you, kiss you, hug you?" Looking up at him as I smile slightly, holding him close to me, my hands on his biceps as he holds my waist.

"Waiting in the shadows to scare me when I get here."

He chuckles and shakes his head as he smiles. "I haven't done such a thing" rolling my eyes slightly I kiss him again before he lets me go. Grabbing his cane again I watch as he limps back over to his counter and sits, shaking his ankle slightly and wincing in pain.

"What's going on with your foot?" Walking over to him he put his hand up to get me to stop, he's always attempting to stop my worry when it comes to him, always failing. Grabbing his hand gently and pushing it away, I knelt down to take his shoe and sock off, taking a look at the limb.

"You really did a number on this 300 years ago. Guess you didn't think about this world making the pain come back again."

He sighs as I glance up at him, seeing how unimpressed he is with me babying him. "I did, I just didn't care. The only thing that mattered at the time was finding my son, I can handle a little pain." putting his hands on the top of his cane he glances around the shop.

Rubbing my hand along the side that was originally broken, it was bruised and swollen. It  never healing correctly, but when you live in an Enchanted Forest, Orthopedic surgeons are a little hard to come by. Feeling him wince and pull away slightly, making me look at him again.

"I know I don't need to tell you that it never healed correctly. Though it's swollen and bruised. Do you have any icy hot?" he put his forehead on his hands that were resting on the handle of his cane, sighing heavily.

"Rumple, don't sigh at me like that, you're the one that put the necklace on me, now you get to deal with me babying you again, now, where is it?"

Seeing him lift his head to look at me, he tries to hide his smile as he glances away. "Don't make me ask you again." he continues to pretend not hear me, his smile growing.

"Rumplestiltskin!" watching him jump slightly before looking at me again he bit his lip and finally gave in. Telling me where it was I went to go get it before adding it to his foot, putting his sock back on.

"Why was that so hard?" standing up and looking at him, he glances down before looking over. "I just like it when you say my name, yelling it is even better." He smirks as he looks at me.

"You're lucky I love you." I said standing catching me before I could put the ointment back where I got it. He looks down at me as he smiles, pulling me closer to him.

"I know exactly how lucky I am that you love me. I can't begin to tell you how miserable I was while I didn't know where you were, only for you to be under my nose the whole time before I remembered. A whole 28 years without you has been torture."

He puts some hair behind my ear as I look up at him, smiling gently at his words before kissing him again. "You're not going to get yourself out of trouble that easy."  Leaning down as he hums at me, I smile. "Do you think so?"

Nodding as he places another kiss on my lips and I return it before he lets go, glancing at the clock before sighing gently. "I'll see you later, hopefully soon we wont have to have all of the precaution when I want to see you."

Holding his hand gently as I nod, my eyes welling up slightly. He kisses my forehead to get me to relax. "There will be none of that."

"I just-" releasing a small breath as more tears came up. "I just hate spending my nights away from you, especially when it rains." Feeling him wrap his arms around me, his cane going across my back as he keeps me in place. Leaning into his hold I close my eyes while listening to his heart.

"I'm always going to be here now, I promise. You can always come over in the middle of the night or call." kissing the top of my head as he sighs gently, holding me close to him as we listened to the clock tick by.

"I love you, Rumple." He wipes my tears as I look up at him again, giving another small kiss. "I have to go, you better elevate your foot from now on and put ice on it, it'll help with the swelling and pain, and you shouldn't walk on it without the cane"

Sighing and nodding his head he hums, sitting down again so I could put his dress shoe back on. Getting it tied and pulling his pant leg back down, the store bell rang, making me shoot up from behind the counter, Rumple turning back in a forward position as I glance at him. I'm sure this looks odd from the other side of the counter.

Seeing Emma standing there as she looks between the two of us before narrowing her eyes. "I didn't know anyone else was in here besides, Gold." Shaking my head stammered.

"That's fine, I was just leaving, you know, morning deliveries and all." Closing the door behind me breathing gently, before shaking my head and making my way towards the post office to get my route for the day.

Sydney's POV

Watching (y/n) leave the pawn shop after nearly 30 minutes of being there, while the shop was closed. Glancing  at the pictures I had taken from the last couple of days. Gold being more touchy feely than he was with well, everyone. Her looking around before she goes into the building, and leaving quickly, especially after someone shows up.

Putting the camera away, I made my way to Regina's office. Knowing she's going to want to see these, especially if someone is getting a little too familiar with Gold. Walking down the road to the car I stashed at Granny's I drive off to Town Hall. Once out of the car, smirking while heading up to her office to tell her of the important find.

Knocking on the door and telling her it was me, she looks up from her desk slightly annoyed that I was bugging her. "What is it, Sydney?"

"I have some important things you should see, involving a courier and a pawn shop owner." Walking over to her as I pull my camera up, getting the pictures ready for her to see. Handing her the camera she clicks through them before glaring at me.

"How long has this been going on?" she was seething already. Humming gently while smirking, leaning down and telling her.

"The last couple of weeks, the only thing that's outwardly changed, is the necklace she's wearing. Their sneaking around started after that necklace showed up on her."

She nods as she hands me the camera before standing. "Time to put a stop to this, before it gets out of hand." Turning as she went to grab her coat and I followed her. "What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to do whatever it takes, maybe  with her gone, he won't have a reason to live."
