Gold's POV

Leaving Archie's office I made my way to the sheriffs office. I need her and Mary Margret's help so I can get her back. I need her with me, she's the only thing that keeps me a man. Walking into the station, I went over to her office, clearing my throat for a moment as Emma was at her desk.

"What do you want, Gold?"

"I need help."

She puts the paper she was looking at down. "Help with what? Getting (y/n) home?"

Nodding slightly as I look down sigh gently. "I want.. Need her to know that I'm sorry. I was only doing it to protect her, I won't do it anymore. She's not going to want to see me, so you and Mary Margret are going to have to help me convince her."

She scoffs as she stands. "You want us to help you? What have you ever done for us? You made the curse and that's why we're here in the first place. You deserve her finding out about what you did and leaving you for it."

Looking up at her she stops as she sees my face. "I'll leave you and your family alone. I just want her back, I'll return to looking for a way to find my son, and you won't have any more problems from me."

Raising a brow as she watches me, squinting her eyes and sighing. "Fine, but just this once."

Your POV

Sitting on the couch while holding a pillow, I sigh. Why was Jiminy looking at me like that? Why was he so hurt?

"(y/n)?"

Looking up to see Snow looking at me, I smile gently. "how'd things go with Archie-" she sighs as she catches herself "Jiminy."

"You can call him Archie, you knew him before the curse was lifted. And-" Sitting up I look at her. "I think it went well, it's just been so long since I've been able to see him. I told him I wasn't allowed out of the castle after I agreed to be Rumple's maid. You should have seen the look in his eyes, I've never seen it from him before."

She looks at me for a moment, about to say something before the door opened, it was Emma.

"(Y/n)! Mary Margret!"

Standing with Snow we watched as she came in, a black cane sticking out from behind the door for a moment before it closed. Frowning as I look at him, crossing my arms.

"What do you want?"

His brows furrow with sadness as he looks at me. "I just want you to come home, I'm sorry I kept things from you."

"Sorry doesn't cut it, Rumple. You were killing people, because of me!"

"I know, I know! I was just trying to hold up my end of the deal the only way i knew how!"

"The only way you knew how? You could have done a thousand other things instead of killing people!"

He sighs as he looks between Emma and Snow, wanting back up for the punishment he was getting.

"Don't look at them to save you, this is how consequences work. You do something wrong, you have to deal with it. I stole from those huntsmen, they had every right to chase me like they did. I was able to out run them anyway, when I got into your castle I didn't see them again."

Watching him as he bows his head, holding onto his cane. "I'm sorry. Just come home."

"I'll go home with you, only if you agree to a few things."

He nods gently as he looks at me. Resisting a deal wasn't in his vocabulary. "What do you want?"

"I want to be able to see Jiminy without you losing your mind over it." he nods slowly, as he agrees. "What else?"

"I never want you to step in between me and anything else again, I don't care what it is. I can fight my own battles, I did it long before I met you I can still now."

He nods as he opens his arms for me. "You break our deal, you'll never see me again." He frowns as he looks at me, swallowing hard and looking at me. "You know there's only one deal I've broken in a lifetime of deals."

Nodding as I hug him, his arms wrapping around me tightly as he keeps me close. Pulling away I look at him before letting go and turning away from him for a moment. "Thank you two for giving me a place to clear my head. It means a lot."

Snow smiles and hugs me for a minute. "Are you sure you want this?" she whispers. Nodding as I smile I look up at him. "As much as you want to be with Emma and Charming." she glances at Rumple for a moment and nods gently. "Find your happiness."

Turning to hug Emma, she only waves before I hold Rumple's hand. "Ready to go?" I ask as I look at him. He nods and waves his cane slightly, putting us back into his shop.

"Rumple."

"You said I couldn't fight your battles and to let you see that cricket. You said nothing about magic."

Shaking my head gently I grab his lapels slightly from his jacket, giving him a small kiss. "I'm back now what do you want to do?"

"Now that you're home, I have something I want to give to you. I was going to give it to you under a more romantic time. But it's now or never."

Watching him walk over to the wall safe, I tilt my head slightly. Opening it and taking out a small box I furrow my brows.

"What's that?"

He walks back over to me without answering. Placing his cane on the edge of the display case next to him. He kneels down and breathes slowly. "I've loved you for a long time now, and I want you to know that I'll never break our deal. What better way to do that than with a social contract of sorts." he stops for a moment as I tilt my head at him.

"(y/n). Will you marry me?"

He opens the box, revealing a ring. Covering my mouth as I gasp gently I look at him. "Are you sure?"

He nods as he looks at me. "Would I be on one knee if I wasn't?"

giggling as I get on the floor with him, kissing him before hugging him tightly. He wraps his arms around me before putting the ring on my finger. Kissing him again I looked into his eyes. "You and your contracts."

"They're what I do best, besides loving you."
