"Stealing from me are you?"

Gasping gently, I dropped the ring as I looked at her. She looked at it before she used magic to pick it up. Getting the message in it she sighed gently and threw it at the wall. It clinked to the floor.

Frowning as I lost the one thing I had down here, she dropped me for a moment and sighed.

"He sent you here to steal did he? How perfect for him."

Reaching her hand out she shoved it into my chest and grabbed my heart. I watched and whimpered as she pulled it out and I could see it.

"You're going to do something for me now."

"No -ah!"

She started to squeeze as I protested. Dropping to my knees she chuckled for a moment before she had me stand up again.

"Give this to Rumple, then leave the rest to me."

I went to say no but she spoke into my heart which made me say his name. I disappeared and landed in the red and gold room that we had dinner in. Looking at Rumple as he helped me up I put the vile down and looked at him.

"Don't be mad, it was for something good."

"Good? You call getting me thrown in jail good?!"

I covered my mouth for a moment as I yelled, but it wasn't me.

"Now, love "

"Don't 'love' me. I'm starting to see why people don't like you, Dark One."

I stepped away from him and he walked over to me before he grabbed me.

"(Y/n) this isn't you, what happened? What's wrong?"

Squeezing his hand I looked at him before I spoke coldly again. Stop it, you're hurting him!

He looked at me surprised and confused. "this is me, Rumple. Nothing but a thief that used you to leave my dreadful little life in the woods."

"This isn't you, I know this isn't!"

"Face it, Rumple, the one person you thought actually loved you, never really did."

Without another word I turned and went to my room, slamming the door. Getting to the vanity I started to cry.

"Now now, dearie. Don't do that, you have no reason to I'm only showing you your true colors."

Looking to the door I frowned as I didn't see Rumple. I turned to the mirror and saw the queen, jumping up from my chair I pointed at her.

"You! You made me say all those, those things to Rumple!"

The walls were made of stone so sound didn't travel well from room to room as it didn't echo. The halls and foyer would echo well since they're mostly empty.

"Hah, me? I did everything your heart wanted to say. Look at it, (y/n)."

She held it up to the mirror as I looked at it. It was a but if a dull red color as it was beating in her hand. I've heard of hearts being either bright red and glowing, or dark and almost black.

"What was in that vile?"

"Nothing you need to know about. For now, it's storytime, I have something you should hear about."

"What is it?"

"It's about the night your parents were killed, what else?"

Looking at the vanity I walked over and sat down. "what do you know?"
