"What?" The guys asked in shock.

"I have cancer," She shrugged as she laid in the bed refusing to look at any of them.

"You have—" Luke started to ask but she interrupted.

"I said I have cancer," She glared at him. "Why do you insist I repeat myself? I didn't stutter."

"Sorry Cupcake," He pouted.

"Where are your dogs?" Axel asked looking around. "Oh," He whispered noticing the three of them asleep in their beds on the floor under the window. "Keep it down, they are sleeping."

"What are you doing here anyway?" She fumed, "I didn't allow you into my room. How did you get past my security?"

"Why do you have security?" North asked. "What are you some kind of spy or some shit like that?"

"Fuck you," She spat at him. "I'm not a goddamn spy. Get the fuck out of my room. I don't want to see you or talk to you. Get out of my room."

Amaya, Zeus, and Hades raised their heads, stretched, then started growling making all the men take a step back as the dogs jumped on the bed surrounding her.

"I want to help," Sean shook his head. "I meant what I said, I'm a doctor. Let me help, please."

"I have the best doctors in the world treating me," She fumed. "That's why I left my country in the first place. Now leave me alone. Just because I'm sick doesn't mean I have to put up with your bullying and nosiness. Get out now!"

"Calista, please," Sean pleaded.

"GET OUT NOW!" She screamed and the door burst open hearing her screams and the dogs angry barking. "I want them out of here now!"

"Yes Princess," The man nodded automatically, "Time to leave Gentlemen, now."

"Princess?" Victor asked shocked. "You are a princess?"

"Please don't make me get security," The man said holding his arm out. "You need to leave."

"I don't want them anywhere near me," Calista glared as she clutched the sheet covering her.

"Yes Princess," he nodded then shut the door behind him. The dogs sniffed her then laid back down.

"Way to fucking go North," Gabe frowned. "You just had to bully a goddamn fucking princess. I hope you are fucking proud of yourself. A fucking princess that is battling fucking cancer."

"Told you she was hiding something," He shrugged. "I was right."

"Man, what the fuck is your goddamn deal?" Gabe asked as they left the hospital. "Like fucking seriously? What is your fucking problem with her?"

"She would have tore this family apart," North admitted. "She already is."

"What are you talking about?" Luke asked.

"She would have been like the others," He shrugged. "The jealousy, the arguing, the secrets and lies. I refuse to go through all that shit again. I won't let any female get between us again. We won't go through that again. I refuse to let it happen and if I have to be the asshole then I'll gladly do it."

"She could have been the one for us if you weren't so mean to her," Victor sighed. "You didn't give her a chance to get to know us. She could have been different."

"Or she could have been exactly like the others," North shook his head. "Now we don't need to worry about it. Besides princesses are spoiled divas, too much trouble."

"She isn't your typical princess," Nathan shook his head. "But guess we will never know now."

"You will thank me for it later," North shrugged and headed to his car.

He drove and drove and drove. Coming up to the spot that he treasured, he parked and got out. He sighed and started walking down the shore as he tried to fight against the memories threatening to break free. He found his spot on the rocks and sat down looking out at the nighttime ocean. The stars shone brightly as he looked up at them trying to clear his head. He refused to get close to another female again. Even one that felt so protective over. Sure, he felt like shit being so mean to her but he knew in the end it would be worth it. His family was safe from yet another heartache. He had to fight against his feelings of guilt and remorse. She would just end up breaking his and his family's heart and he refused to let that happen again. Sure, they may be mad at him right now but they would thank him for it later on when she showed her true colors and they realized he was telling the truth. All women are the same, nothing but trouble.
